BSG:The Next Chapter Season2 Episode 5
About this creation
Officers' Head
Water reclamation on the Galactica is nearly 100%. Officers and Crew are required to maintain proper hygiene aboard ship to avoid outbreaks of various infectious diseases.

It also makes living is such close proximity more tolerable, and better for overall morale.

Major Leda Ouriana CAG Battlestar Triton, call sign Cougar.

LT Chettina Kuo, Chief Flight Deck Engineer.

Cougar: "Oh, there you are! Still in your robe, I see..."

Kuo: "It's kinda drafty in here..."

Cougar: "I love these scrubby things you've got on this ship. Get my back for me?"

Chrissy Phipson, Executive Assistant to Mr. Levopolis.

Phipson (to herself): "What I wouldn't give for a day at the spa back in Sydney..."

Phipson (to herself): "Well well well, what have we got here?"

Phipson (to herself): "This little tidbit of information may come in handy..."

Galactica C Deck

Phipson: "I really hope it will lead to the safe return of Mr. Levopolis. I can't thank you enough for arranging this, Mr. Maverick.

Maverick: "No problem, Ms Phipson. At least this gives us a place to start. Hopefully everything will work out."

Tactical Briefing Room
CMDR George Nembec, Commanding Officer
COL Doug Watchko, Executive Officer

Phipson: "Hello, Doug."

Watchko: "Chrissy."

Maverick: "Alright, since we're all acquainted here, I'll get to the point. The reason I called this meeting is we've received some helpful information in the search for our missing man, Levopolis."

Mav: "Ms. Phipson was telling me that in her briefcase, among other things, is the transponder code for a chip embedded in Mr. Levopolis' neck, in case he were ever kidnapped or lost. The only catch is the range."
Phipson: "Once we arrived here in the Colonies, I started to receive a signal. It's just that wherever he is, it's too far out of range to get an accurate direction. Then I saw Mr. Maverick at the Christmas party, and asked if he could help."

Nempec: "Excellent. Find the chip, find Levopolis."

Mav: "I figure if we deploy the Raptors in the various star systems here in the Colonies, we might be able to get several signals, then triangulate a location..."
Watchko: "But what if those frakin' Athenians are just waiting for us to come sniffin' around for him?"

Nempec: "It's our best option at this point. Once we locate him, then we can come up with a strategy to spring him, if he's still alive that is."
Mav: "Well, whatever it is they're after, he wouldn't be much use to them dead..."

Nempec: "Okay, Mav, sounds like a plan. Send out the Raptors, and let's see what we can find!"

Raptors Departing Galactica

Nempec: "This is Galactica Actual. Good hunting, and find us our man!"

Lt Denise Price, call sign Grumpy: "Roger that Actual. Alright team, you have your coordinates. Jump in, take a listen, jump out. Meet you back here in time for supper. On my mark, 3, 2, 1...Jump!"

Raptor 925. Aquaria, Helios Delta System.
ECO: "Just a faint background signal, LT, but nothing I can get a fix on."

Raptor 411. Scorpia, Helios Gamma System.
ECO: "Nothing, Sir..."

Raptor 867. Picon, Helios Alpha System.
ECO: "All's quiet here, Sir..."

Raptor 530. Leonis, Helios Beta System.
ECO: "Just some local wireless traffic, but nothing on our chip."

Raptor 369. Virgon, Helios Beta System.
ECO: "Nope, not a thing, Sir."

Raptor 269. Canceron, Helios Delta System.

Grumpy: "Okay, Bones, what do you hear?"

Bones: "Nothin' but the rain, Skipper!"

Bones: "Wait a sec..."

Bones: "I think we've got something here..."

Bones: "Confirmed, loud and clear. We've found him!"

Grumpy: "Frak! Look at the size of that station! Spin up the FTL and let's get out of here!"

Quoting clayton Marchetti This is my favorite episode by far :-) I can't remember anything after the luffa But I was a great episode . Excellent work yes yes excellent work
It was at this point that Parrington and I were figuring that shower scenes should be mandatory for our story lines. The bathroom set was a pretty big project, too, but well worth the effort, I think!

Quoting Mr. Xenomurphy Next shower scene with Pvt. Bonsch and some guy droping his soap, please, hahaha. So they finally found the place where Levopolis is hidden. Great suspense, chief. I like how you're using close ups like in the pic (Cougar: "Oh, there you are! Still in your robe, I see..."). I think it's good for the storytelling.
Dramatic closeups; that's what they do on TV, so I'm just following along, I guess. I also like to switch the focus between characters, like on the Raptor, fore and aft. They used to do that on Trek a lot on the bridge. Thanks, Boss!

Quoting Leda Kat =^..^= Barty, that bathroom set is probably some of your best work I've seen, not just in build but in the atmosphere you've created with the lighting, the toilet stalls and feet underneath, the pauses, the subtlety, the views of the 'action' behind the people at the basins. Its perfectly and professionally done. What are you wasting your talent for cleaning people's teeth, you really ought to be a movie director.
Wow! Thanks for the great comment, Leda! So, you like that 'action', eh? The nice thing about directing Lego figs, there's no drama behind the scenes, so I suppose I'll stick to teeth... I'm having fun, so that's what counts, right?

Quoting Dennis Price An exciting, well-executed episode filled with humor, tension, and spaceships! You've pretty much got it all here, and that's perhaps an understatement. It seems you've set us up well for the next few installments, which is no mean trick when writing. I'd love to say I do the same thing, but that would be a lie! Love the various looks of the interiors in this series -- if I were more ambitious, I'd give it a try myself!
Thanks for the kind words! As Leda would say, it's all about the spaceships!!! I'm guessing you have the day off, too, so if you have twenty minutes or so, you ought to read the Christmas episode. I think you'll get a kick out of it, now that you're a recurring character, and all!

hahahaha, our arms race on showers scense has reached Cuban MIssile Crisis levels, lmao. MAn I always loved the BSG bathroom scenes, reminded me so much of the army, and you have really nailed it here. You even did the toilets and I don't know they ever did! Remarkable mate, and I very relieved my friends are so eager to rescue Levopolis! Hehehe, Chrissy looks as good as ever, oh and same for your awesomeFX! Happy New Year Barto and I look forward to it here on Mp with you guys! Cheers :)
