About this creation



I must admit I was inspired by Henrik Hoexbroe's model to have a try myself. This one is a strict four wide and is minifigure compatible (as usual). I would rather have been able to make it less two tone but didn't seem to have the relevant brick to do this in white. It looks a tad police car like. I did try giving it a roof but somehow it didn't seem to work, assuming the rest of it does! If I'd tried making it a cabriolet I'd have to have omitted the roof housed rear lights and as they are such a nice and distinct feature, I chose not to, Instead I have arrived at a targa top, with the top missing. It was quite tricky getting the short axle wheels under the side panels at the rear. I think as is often the case with my models this is more of a tribute than an exact replica. I like it anyway, hope y'all do too.

(if anyone is interested the other car in the final frame is a VW beetle prototype I'm currently working on)

That's a cool 4-wide Minifig DS! You captured the essence of the design very well. The rear end is my favourite part. Well done! :-))
