Captain Haddock's Lincoln Zephyr
After NUMEROUS tries of uploading my latest creation, Captain Haddock's Lincoln Zephyr is finally on the pages. :D
About this creation
UPDATE: I guess I didn't realize this before, but this is my 20th moc! :]

Let's start out with a little rotation shall we?

The taillights on this car were unintentional, as the car in the book has none. But it looked good, so I left them there :]

FUNCTIONING STUFF:

The two opening doors. :]

The rearview mirrors aren't actually there in the book, but it looked better with them so I added them.

The real Lincoln Zephyr's engine produced 110 hp (82 kW) and gave the car a top speed of 90 miles per hour (140 km/h). My lego version has an engine that runs at 200 studs per minute. :D

And now...for my pride and joy of this moc...THE WORKING CONVERTIBLE ROOF!!! The following pictures are quite self-exlanatory, so I will shut up for now. ;] P.S. I forgot to use macro for two of the pictures, sorry! //runs away//

All done!

/gasp/ a TRUNK!!! I wonder what's in it...

THUNDERING TYPHOONS!!! IT'S THE CAPTAIN'S HAT! :D

Some artistic shots.

The interior, my favorite one I've made yet.

The seats can lean back as well :]

A W.I.P. shot.

And one last goodbye picture.

I had a lot of fun building this, as I LOVE the Tintin comics! Please leave a comment below and tell me what you think! Happy New Years by the way!!!

Yeah, I did go a bit crazy taking photos. XD
Quoting DeTomaso Pantera Brilliant! I love that opening roof! My one critisism would be there are far too many photos. Sometimes Less = More. I do love this creation though.

Err, I thought Captain haddock would say this to himself if he saw this: 'Captain, Billions of blistering blue barnacles you land lubber!' Excellent job by the by.

Gotta love that working roof! I know how hard it is to make it (I just made a 16-wide car with a working top - will be posted soon). Nice presentation and editing, but the main picture's background could be better. :) Excellent work! ~LB Jr.

Thanks! I actually didn't use Photoshop, only iPhoto. I find Photoshop way to confusing :P
Quoting MortalSwordsman . Happy New Year Larry. Another excellent creation crammed with lots of functions. The opening features are very clever especially the roof. You are very creative with the parts you use. I also really like the sepia tone and photoshopping. I have no idea how to use Photoshop. Love the Tintin cartoons and books. 200 studs per minure - hahahaha.
