On Christmas day 2011, a group of colonists flew to a newly habitable planet to (obviously) start new colonies. The trip was said to take six days exactly, just in time to celebrate the New Year. But calculations were incorrect and the flight took six days plus six months! The colonists were (for some reason) unaware of how long the flight took. So upon landing on the new planet on July 1st, 2012 they celebrated New Years. From that point on the colonists celebrated New Years on July 1st...space style!

Happy July 1st! What if New Years started half a year later, on July 1st? Build it!

My deepest apologies to everyone for not posting in awhile. With the Christmas season going on I just found myself constantly busy. I was barely able to whip this up for the MOC Speed Contest (I literally had less than six hours). Well with that said I wish you all a happy New Year and I promise to get something built soon!

OK.... A nice solid build and a nice choice of figures. The story was also very well thought out too. A little more structure and I would bump your score up, but I am still awarding you 12 + 3 = 15 points. Thank you.
