Christmas Tree
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! I built a little Christmas Tree to celebrate the occasion. The tree design is not originally mine, but it was fun to play around with. I tried a black background again too, hope you like it!
About this creation

An ornament representing the Star of Bethlehem crowns the tree.

Ornaments.

Overhead shot.

The man himself: Santa Clause (an experiment in rubber bands). But amid all the joy and cheer let us not forget the true meaning of Christmas: the infant in the manger, who is Christ the Lord. Merry Christmas!

This is a really great little build, perhaps one of my favorites by you– you've really nailed the shape and the sparkly feel of a real tree.

Quoting ~Mr.X ~ I hope this is not to personnal, but I was just wondering if you are a Christian? You don't have to answer if you don't want to. I love that tree! To bad you couldn't get a red hat for Santa. Merry Christmas! ~Mr.X~
Yep, I'm a Christian (read my homepage). Thank you for commenting.

Quoting Grant Fisher is the base just the four sided bricks?
The base is a flat 2x2 tile with a stud in the dead center. Thanks for commenting!

Quoting LukeClarenceVan The Revanchist I've been working on a New Years MOC for Flare's newest contest, and I was wondering if you'd mind me using this general design? I know you didn't come up with it, but you're the first person I've seen who's used it as a Christmas Tree. Again, great work on this!
Go right ahead, all I added was the ornaments (studs). Of course I wouldn't mind if you gave me a little credit, but you don't have to. Thanks again for commenting!

Good play is what LEGO means, instilling creativity and imagination are the aims of the company, there are many ways to solve a problem (create a theme)yours was one such way! I'd say you had a good time playing with your creativity through your imagination! A good moc!

Quoting LukeClarenceVan The Revanchist Awesome tree! I'm surprised the photos turned out so well with a black background, you must have a really good camera! I'm not sure the Santa is really fitting though. The green hat, the face, and the plain red suit don't do it for me. Still, great tree, and MErry (belated) Christmas!
Thanks for commenting! I agree with you about the hat, but I didn't have a red one so green was the next "Christmas color" in line. A Merry belated Christmas to you too!
