--Category One-- Crappy New Years! - What is worst thing that you can think of that could happen to you during a New Years.

About this creation

For the MOC Speed Contest.

What could be worse than when they're all counting down the New Year in New York city than the Ball getting STUCK just three seconds before the New Year.

Everyone was gathered around the New York Ball counting down the last 10 seconds of the year, and just as the ball went further down, the anticipation for the new year arose.
the crowd yelled together:
"Five!...Four!...Three!... ..Two? ...What's going on?!"

"Why isn't the ball going?" Said little Timmy, who was having his first trip to New York and will soon never want to come back ever again.

The crowd waited, not knowing what they should do, or even if it was still 2011 or not.

Eventually over an hour later a repaiman finally came to fix it, but by then 97% of the crowd had gone home.

And thus, one single mechanism failure ruined ALL of 2012 for millions of people.

In New york city in the last seconds of the year there is this big lit up ball that drops in the last seconds of the year. As for little timmy.... I have no idea why I do that, but I doubt I'll stop now. :)

Nice! I've actually never seen the ball drop, because the two years I stayed up for it the TV in our room (on vacation) was so small that I didn't know where the ball was! Great moc, the snot looks great!

Haha, actually I had to use a slightly different technique because most of my 1x1 bricks with studs on sides were being used in the ball. With this I used headlight bricks. Thanks for noticing.
