a design that use practically all the NXT 2.0 peices (except for all those axle connector things).
About this creation
This model started as an experiment to see if nxtprograms.com's NXT 2.0 "ball shooter" design could be modifyed so it had a hopper for ammo, instead of the bionicle ammo holder.

this conversion idea was sucssesful, so i stuck a couple of motors on the sides of the firing motor, fitted the NXT brick to the top and gave it tracks. after this had been tested, i added all the complex panels at the front and added all the remaining beams as armor at the sides/rear, as well on the sides of the tracks.

i'm very pleased at the way this MOC turned out as all the wires tuck away behind the side armor and this give a clean shape and, something that i think looks like a tank.

Enjoy!!

Quoting Adam Azaiez This was a great tank, I understand you do not have either building instructions or all the time in the world to make instructions. If by any chance you decide to rebuild it take a computer, download lego digital designer and build it as you go but build it as well in the computer. When you finished it save it and post it.
I will, but as time moves on i'm less and less likely to rebuild my old stuff, more so than ever with exams coming my way, i already had LDD, but i ever rebuild this i will be sure to add the files to this page

Quoting Zolkar The Awesome Cool can u send me instructions? marmadukey@hotmail.com
Firstly, sorry for the slow reply, I've been busy with other things. Unfortunately i didn't make instructions for this build, (since it was so long ago i hadn't got to grips with Lego Digital Designer), and therefore can't give you then however much i'd like to (sorry about that)!

Quoting Chris J Do you happen to have building instructions for this? It's an amazing tank and could really use the build for a school project to beat my peers (lol)
Sorry Chris, i designed this at a point when i wasn't making instructions for my designs, so unfortunatly there are no building instructions for this Moc. you may however, find another of my mindstroms designs you like that does have a building instructions file, such as my half-track. Thanks for the comment all the same

Quoting O Chin I really like your robot. It has a unique shape for a ball shooter. I would suggest that you could try to put the tank treads on the inside of the main structure for an even better design, plus a better compact ability.
hmm.. i tried this several times, but either ran out of parts, or the structure wasn't up to the drive train stresses. I tried to add more capacity for the ball shooter as the original only fitted 7 balls in it, but this design worked a lot better. thanks for the comment!
