Dune Buggy Offroader 2WD proof of concept for front independent and rear pendular suspension
About this creation
Started off as a proof of concept for the front and rear suspension
which I had not seen in use in anyone's else's MOC.
In the end I finished it and added maxi-figs and though is a mish mash of all colours and styles (old school, new, and intermediary)

I really like the way the rear is pendular and provides shock absorbtion at all angles.
Even managed to squeeze a tiny engine in there, though I had to use older style bevel gears as they hold the axles on tighter than the new style ones.

Also the shocks can be adjusted to a few positions to give a softer/harder ride and improve the ground clearance. One of the rear shocks can be removed completely to make it super soft.

Motorizing this will be the next challenge... not much room in there.

You're right, it is a bit of a mish mash, but it sorta works : ) Some nice Technic features in here, and it;s proportionally excellent. 4/5, just needs a little tidying up. Good job
