My collection of LEGO's annual holiday-themed sets occupy this table.
About this creation
It's that time of year again! The time that I get to just skip all the formalities I usually put into my MOC's and dedicate one just to say Happy Holidays to everyone!
Hope you enjoy my annual "LEGO Room" at Christmastime tour!
Below my tree sits a custom motorized Hogwarts Express complete with the flying Ford Anglia in front. I added this last year after I bought the 2010 version of this set, along with two more of the passenger cars on bricklink. And yes, that is a Harry Potter tree skirt underneath the track!
My younger brother's tree features the Holiday Train set from 2006.
His full tree with four of my Chicago models behind it. If this tree were a 1:650 replica as well, it would be about 4,000 ft tall!
My modular houses collection all decked for the holidays! New to the collection this year is, of course, the Pet Shop.
This is the same tree you saw last year, but this time around, I added snow to each teir and made a greater effort to uniformize the candles.
And a look at the rest of my models. The table is definitely running out of room! And yes, that is a third tree in the room in the background. In total, my family has eight Christmas trees that we put up every year!!
It's hard for me to imagine Christmas without some Lego in there somewhere - very cool set-up. Have a terrific holiday, Rocco, and here's hoping I'll get a chance to see your work in person in 2012!
