Merry Christmas, Chunk! here's another gargantuan hunk of animated steel to add to your collection.
About this creation
just a custom-designed MBS I decided to put together for you as a Christmas present. it's yours, feel free to do whatever you want with it, whether that be sticking it in your private Mech garage, turning it into a mass-produced stock model, or taking it out to the battlefield for some fun.
I designed the Renegade to be fully interchangeable with other MBS units as well as their weapons. unfortunately, to do this, I used the Grey Wolf as a reference and because if this the two units bear a very heavy resemblance.
sorry to disappoint you, but I haven't designed any new weapons for the Renegade. ...yet. I'm making Mech Battle Suits for a lot of people, and I decided to just make one creation with all the weapons included. it might be a week or two until you see any of them. until then, I figure you have plenty of MBS weapons of your own, and just about all of them should fit on the Renegade.

just two simple pictures showing the Renegade from different angles.
the Renegade carries relatively good armor. it could probably carry more, but I wanted to make this as versatile a unit as possible. along with the Renegade's main power core, I placed two light power cores in each shoulder. this way it can support energy weapons without hindering power flow to the Renegade's other systems. ironically, I never intended to equip this thing with any energy weapons since you seem to prefer projectile weapons, yet still went with it. I suppose if you ever decide to go with an energy weapon armament you'll be all set. and if you don't think you ever will, the power cores should be relatively easy to replace with something else. since nearly every thruster unit I've ever designed for a Mech has functioned relatively poor, I decided to just equip it with some of your own Jetrax thrusters instead. feel free to change this.
anyway, I hope you enjoy. :)

Quoting CBMC Chunkblaster
Great stuff here man! Thank you! I wish I had made you fellas presents =( I unfortunately can't get past how this likes a great deal like the grey wolf. Don't feel limited to the greywolf's basic setup with how the cockpit is, experiment with the frame, or make your own. As long as its in relatively the same size and it still incorporates the modular setup for the weapons and boosters, its an MBS.
yeah, sorry about how similar the two are. I had the stupid idea of starting with yours, and used the Grey Wolf as a reference while building. I managed to implement some more unique elements into the other MBS units, but this turned out a lot more like the Grey Wolf than I'd like. :S I'll be working on two or three MBS-ish designs based a bit off the Gundam designs, so I might develop a pretty different cockpit then. |

Quoting Rabid Goldfish
Looking good! Once I finish my current project, I may have to try my hand at a variant of this. My only issue is that the head seems to be mounted too far back. But that's me. Nicely done, Chunk. ^Blub^
no, it's not just you. I've been trying to figure out how to get the head right, but haven't been able to. the issue is mainly the cockpit hatch, which prevents the head from being mounted farther forward. I also tried placing the arms a bit farther back, but that doesn't work either. by the way, Rabid, I have a Mech for you, too. I'll get it posted pretty soon. :) |

Nice. And Chunk has made energy weapons in the past (ie; the PLAB-1s). |
