So, this is what I made when I came back from Brickworld 2011. Iv already received a lot of positive feedback from this MOC. For the past month its been displayed at an art show in Winter Haven Florida. I plan to bring it to Brickfair next month but not as my main display.
This MOC is based on the Resident Evil Mansion from the video-games, but as I was building, it really took on a life of its own.
It all started with this stair case. I had so much fun building this room I felt the only way for it to really work out well was to build on the wings.
It looks really cool with the lights out, the photos just don't do it justice.
I hope you enjoyed the photos, thanks for stopping in
This is absolutely beautiful. Your attention to detail all over the creation is stunning. The staircase is brilliant as are the statues, especially the knight, which really looks good. I could on and on, but suffice it to say, this creation is one of the best I have seen in quite awhile.
Awesome moc! I love the color scheme and texture throughout, especially the light bley/gray floor. The flowers growing up the wall are quite cute. The flared bottom of the staircase, the round wall corners upstairs, the clocks, the trellis piece buried in the wall as an arch over the door, the fireplace are all fantasitc! I'm scratching my head over how you built the knight, and did you use light up bricks, or did you wire in non-Lego LEDs.
I have to say though, I was disappointed when I realized that the diagonal tile floor was paper. I've seen several people do this using actual tiles, and their builds were far less detailed.
Most impressive and inspiring, thanks for posting it. The level of details is high enough that I've to spend more time looking at the pictures later again. The corner with the mice/rats is especially clever.
Absolut beeindruckend und inspirierend, vielen Dank dafür, das du es hier gepostet hast. Wegen der vielend Details werde ich es mir später noch einmal genauer ansehen. Die Ecke mit den Mäusen/Ratten finde ich besonders clever.
