Everyone in there lego career has built one, the Warthog. When I joined the online Lego community back in 2005, it seemed everyone had built one, whether it was a lego begginer or one of those lego pros, mocpages were clutered with them. And why not? Its cool, its sleek and it has a bad a** gun on the back of it, so everyone had to have one. I was one of those people. It has taken me 5 years to get it right, but here, is the Halo Warthog.
About this creation
This was the very first, the 2005 incarnetion of the hog. This was back in the day when I thought that colors, didn't matter, and to be honest they really didn't bother me. Even though it wasn't entirely my design, I was proud. Although this is good for a 10 year old, there were some things wrong, which were fixed in my next version.
A year later, in 2006, I had built this. Along with getting some of the colors sorted out, I added rubberband suspension and made the turret look a lot less squished. The Rubber band suspension was my entry into lego with functions.
This little guy was my 2010 incarnation of Master Chiefs favorite toy. Unlike all the previous versions, the windshield became clear and the sexy leather turned beige. All though this was based on the "Hog", the hood was much to short and had parts that would probably anger Bungie designers If I claimed it as an accurate representation of a warthog.
This is another view of the 2010 model. Unlike most people that build this vehicle, I went onto a different route, and added a back "trunk" and an akward turret. It probably wouldn't win me any grace at the "Super Halo 117 Grunt Fan Club" :D
This is my last version. It is very similar to the slightly older version but has an extra body kit. Out of all the warthogs out there, I'd get into this one if there was a zombie invasion...
Well thats it, my pathetic journey to building a Warthog. I decided to share these pictures as my very old computer started to die, and these were some of the very old photos that were stored on there. There were about 5 more tries at building it between 2006 and 2010, but those photos are now forever lost on my very dead computer and my old, and deleted mocpages account. Hope you enjoyed! Happy Holidays :D
WOW! These are all great :) Please stay active in eXtreme TFOL's!

Very nice work, the picture really show that you have made a lot of progress over the years, even though I don't really play Halo I know how a warthog looks and I must say that you have made one of the most accurate Lego version of it!
Well even though I don't play Halo (and rather not start) I'll admit many of the vehicles are quite nice with both power and elegance of war. These hogs have a nice showing of one's talent as it grows. The backs do look a bit odd but who am I to complain about this game and vehicle. Your first version's colors is nothing to complain about since it looks like winter camo. These hogs are great and hopefully your design of the back will be improved to the point that it may create a new trend.
