When you need to lift something big, and I mean BIG, call in the Skylifter XL-60! It is the tallest and strongest crane I have ever built. Its arm is a gigantic 60 studs long, giving it the name "XL-60". The arm can rotate a full 360 degrees to pick up something in any direction. The sturdy base, plus the 3 weight bricks ( 2 removable ) give the crane impressive stability and heavy lift. Most of the crane parts are joined with technic pieces, to keep all areas of this giant crane nice and strong. I am very proud of it.

Here are the controls for the different functions. The bottom wheel raises and lowers the arm. The top gears operate the winch. There is a hinged bar that flips down to hold the two smaller gears in place when the arm is raised.
The top of the arm. Notice the rollers that guide the string.
The massive arm raised to max height.
Here it is lifting a huge Lego tire at maximum height level.
