My entry for round 3 of the PokeMOC League. My opponent for this round is Yapdap the constantly changing his name and the Battlefield is City Street.
About this creation
Hi there, the name's Blue, no not the gym leader of Viridian, or the hot chick from Pokemon Special, i'm a private eye on the mean streets of sinnoh.
Why did I become a P.I? Because the cops here are useless, they only battle at night, during the day the just stand around doing nothing and let the crooks get away with anything, the only time i've ever seen them do their job during the day is when that bigshot in the trenchcoat came, what was his name? Castiel? The Doctor? Eh it doesn't matter, you came to me to hear about what happened the other day right? Then listen up.
I heard about a robbery at the local Pokemart, now I don't normally bother with stuff like that, every other day someone tries to rob that Pokemart only to be met with an exploding Geodude to the face, but this time I heard there were a bunch of guys wearing black, sounded like organized crime, my kinda case.
Grunt: "That's the last of them, we're all set to go."
I took a shortcut to get there and then I saw it, a strange vehicle with a logo I had never seen before, looks like I was right, but who are they? I expected Galactic or Rocket to be behind this, maybe even Plasma, but this was someone new. "I've gotta find out who they are." I said to myself for no reason, but I couldn't just run out and ask them, who knows how many grunts there were. "I'll have to take them out one at a time"...
..."but first I have to get rid of the alarm system."
I threw a pokeball up onto the roof, hoping to distract the Pidgeot so my Absol could ambush it.
Unfortuneately Absol knocked the bird so hard it fell onto the ground, grabbing the attention of all the crooks and alerting them that something was up.
"Oh s-"
"Absol, take them out!"
Grunt: "Trubbish, use gunk shot!"
"Too slow! Absol, hit it with a psycho cut!"
Grunt: "Gah, why do us grunts always get such weak pokemon?"
Man in cape: "You two, take the cargo back to HQ, you know how much the boss hates waiting."
Getaway driver: "You got it."
Grunt: "Gah, wait for me!"
Man in cape: "I'm not sure who you are but noone stands in the way of team Blackburn. Go Stoutland!"
"Team Blackburn eh? Can't say i've ever heard of you, what are you doing here?"
Man in cape: "Stealing pokeballs, the boss needs a whole lot of them for what he's doing. Enough with the questions, now we battle!"
Man in cape: "Stoutland, use take down!"
"Absol, night slash!"
Man in cape: "Heh heh heh, you don't know when to give up, do you? Stoutland, hit it with another take down!"
"Absol!"
Man in cape: "Like I said, noone stands in the way of team Blackburn."
I must have passed out after that as the next thing I remember was waking up in a Pokecenter.
Is that all you came here for? Good, if you don't mind I have alot of work to do.
What kind of work? I'm gonna find out what team Blackburn is up to and put a stop to them.

Since the other judges, judged there's not need for me to say all that stuff, anyway one of the best entries yet! Loved the backstory and the Pokemon are brilliant! Lovely work :) |

Amazing work, Dark Ray! Your scenery was very well done, your story ingenious, but your Pokemon took the cake! Your Stoutland and Absol were by far the best, but your cool Trubbish and nice Pidgeot were well done as well! Congratulations, you got my vote! Good luck in the next round! |

Cool, but what's a Trubbish and a Stoutland? You kids and your newfangled pokemon. In my day it was a Charizard, Blastroise or Venasaur..... nice job though! Great dusk ball! |
