Because I was tired of building my Porsche Rally Car, I decided to build something different. My logic is flawed.
About this creation
So De Tom. was all "build a Porsche 911 Rally car" and I was all "yay". And I did. And it's finished, except for a strip of white cheez slopez, which I shall have bestowed unto myself this Chri-Holiday!... So I decided to take a break from building the Rally Porsche by building a RSR Porsche. Brilliant. And then I decided to POST it right after Malte Dorowski posted a newer RSR. Brillianter. And on another note, I just realized I forgot to finish the C-pillar. Brilliantest.
Dat front view.
The red tailed hawk, a native of these parts, circles it's prey it hopes of having something to eat around noon. Bird's eye view.
The side view, I think I finally got this whole Porsche side thing figured out. Expect a spam of Porsches.
The back view, in all of its back-ness. It's backful characteristics back up its backly appearance.
You see a spoiler, right? WRONG! I see extra hood space with a spoiler on top of it! Crafty Porsche engineers, crafty crafty buggers indeed.
Some greeblie goodness.
Dat new engine! The original didn't stay in place very well, and erm... well... I threw it on the ground. And I have yet to find half of it.
The interior. Full roll cage included at no extra charge.
Checkered flag seats.
Anyone care to explain why this photobox makes all the blue bricks turn into blinding neon blue? I mean seriously, this happens EVERY single time I photograph something blue.
Whatever, I suppose it doesn't really matter. And yes, I did take an extra photo knowing well in advance that I'd have a rant about something silly like blueness. Speaking of which... Nick B. should really take photos of his transporter here. Imagine that thing in blinding neon blue! MY EYES!!!
Is that a Chincilla sitting in a giant Lego Plymouth Satelite? Nope, Chuck Testa.
The RSR in it's natural habitat, right next to a classic space ship and a giant Plymouth.
Thanks for viewing! (and BTW, credit to Malte for the rear wheel arches...)
Now I've finally found some time to write a comment on this one (I've rated it earlier). What a great MOC, you really found out how to shape a 911! Of course, Malte's influence is undeniable, but you also found your own style to build it. The shaping of the front hood and the rear end is really cool, but the best part is the roof. Engine room and interior are cool, too. I like the checkered seats a lot! Great job! :-))
Wow! 2 Porsches in 1 day! That must be the record! Overall, it's a really nice build, but after seeing Malte's new one, well...you know what I mean. :P I'd like to know how you made the front wheels too. still 5/5
