ATS-90-Basilisk Satallite
This my my second satallite I have made, and is far bigger than the first.
About this creation

The new Basilisk satallites are much more heavilly armed than the smaller Obserbers. They are armed with 4 defensive missiles, and 4 offensive missiles. The purpose of this platform is to attack other satalites and high-altitude aircraft. They have advanced sensors designed specificly to detect stealth aircraft, and their powerfull missiles can devastate enemy bombers.

Then again you dont need to field them in combat,Think of it as a last resort tactical weapon that doesnt need to be used in conflict. After all I fielded top secret weapondry myself :P

I honhestly didn't know about that rule, and the stats for satallites included attack, so I decided to build a satallite that focussed on attack.

Quoting Nemesis º No Josh, it was never allowed, and it wasnt my rule, it was Matt Ps. I have no idea why people have been building them (most likely to cheat).
I've built a attack satalite becuase it was in the satalite stats. I will change it to defense only. However, satalites still have a place, because attacking is only one of their uses.

I believe he meant use--just a typo. In any event, I know believe that satellites in Conflict are useless as they can no longer attack in any way, or get anything out of spying since it doesn't actually do anything other than say it spies on other countries.

Quoting Nemesis º My new bombers dont use jamming, + they fly twice as high as your new fighters. BTW you cant sue this in conflict.
What do you mean by sue this?

So this satellite only works against Pegasus bombers? And i was asking how it hits the bomber, does it just launch missiles without aiming?

Quoting Elpa 14 How does the satellite shoot down bombers? Heat-seeking? BTW the rules say satellites can only have weapons to defend themselves.
The bombers aren't stealth, they are using jamming. The idea is this satalite breaks through the jamming and then fires missiles at them.

Looks good...and big! I don't necessarily think satellites can't have weapons--I mean other than spying what else would they do? But it's the rules, so I don't know—though sometimes rules are more like guidelines than actual rules.

Rules by MattP state satalites cant have weapons. It was already stretching the rules when satalites could destroy other satalites.

I figured this was a fairly novel solution to the bomber problem. Anyway, yah, I am, I just haven't gotten much done. If you want, i could sand you the MK1 prototype tommorow.
