Thanks Chris - I bought a heap of them on eBay about 6 years ago and felt a need to use them! I'll be selling off all my old grey and old dark grey soon though - including some yet-to-be-built MOCs - so I'll be replacing the BURPs with dark bley slopes for some better-looking rocks in future builds. |

The reeds do help somewhat, maybe it just needs tiling, or a fish jumping out somewhere, just something to liven it up a little. Still a most impressive creation, bravo.

To much more detail would make things seem overcrowded. However, I second the motions for more detail on the rocks and water, but those are easily fixed. Truly, this is a lovely castle.

Some very salient feedback there. Yes, I agree that the walls, rocks and water could do with some extra attention. This was my first build after a dark age of a couple of years, but from now on I want to pay more attention to the finer details. Thanks for the tips! |

Nice work! I like the architecture; the lines are clean, but not boring. I think more detail on the water would be good, as well as some slopes on the rock, so that it's not as obvious that you're using the big rock pieces. |

Very nicely done! I know that the build is on the tower, but a little more detail in the water would be great too, it looks a little bit too flat. Other then that a very good job! The photography was good as well!
