Kelra Labyrinth
About this creation
Forming the border of Nocturnus, the Kelra Labyrinth serves as a deterrent on any soul foolish enough to enter. Guarded by the minotaurs and reptrians, fresh meat is always welcome in the maddening mazes within Kelra. Doomed souls will often head towards the watch tower at the center in the hopes of spying an exit, yet they aren't the only species looking to exploit the tower.

See more here on Flickr or over at Eurobricks in the Guilds of Historica

This gobbled up close to 2000 1x2 light bley bricks alone. The final offset X pattern was originally meant to have some smaller pieces on the edges to give a more rounded appearance, but I ran out of most of my bulk pieces.

See if you can find the Bikini Bottom resident amongst the poor souls...

Did you bring your red crayon?!

Cheers
ISC.

As an old player of boardgames like 'Hero Quest' and 'Decent', I must say, I love this. Excellent atmosphere.

I don't really know what to say here other than this is awesome. You already know the high esteem in which I hold all your builds and this one is no different. Love the detail and landscaping work. I continue to learn from you each time you post. Great work!

Thanks for all the comments guys and gals.
Quoting Leda Kat =^..^= Oh wow I love this! Massive undertaking. Makes me want to try a Labyrinth movie moc with the Goblin City in the middle. Love the tower in the centre. We need a birds-eye pic taken directly from above so we can run our crayon along the maze.
I made a fair few exits as some areas were planned in between each axis but ran out of bley bricks. I might have a birds eye pic. See what I can do.

At first I thought that this was some kind of ridiculously huge Heroica map, but it's much, much better. The idea is wonderful, and I love the tower. Nice work.

Though, how you would manage to do that I'm not sure... learn how to hover like a humming bird maybe?

An incredIbly nice and amazing alternative to the common castle. At first look, I thought this was a large, custom board for the new LEGO board game. Any chance you may have thought about building a dungeon version with skeletons and dragon/s?

Wow! What a great idea! Very nicely designed too. The only thing I'd add is a wall almost all the way round the outside edge - it looks too easy to escape currently. Nevertheless, an inspiring build. 5 stars

Incredible! You sure have a lot of Bossk heads! The build itself is amazing, and the size is awe-inspiring. From the thumbnail I thought this was Heroica scale, but I was blown away when I realized it's minifig! My favourite part is the tower, it's truly excellent. Great work!
