Here is my entry for Dan the Man's 6th Car Contest: Future and Concepts.
It is an concept car that can dive in the water. Like the Rinspeed sQuba but with a roof. The car started out as a car that could fly but the wings were going to be too small. So I made it could dive. For the rest scroll the page!
About this creation
The back of the car. You can see the two propellers coming out of the back. In the trunk of the car sits the engine for the propellers.
Front view of the car.
The right side of the car. You can see the exhaust pipes that are running from the front engine bay to the roof.
Shot of the back.
Left side of DiveCar. Yes I gave it a name!
DiveCar with its doors open. In the back there are normal doors. In the front I used wingdoors. The wingdoors come from Dylan Denton's Triacorsa Concept. All credit of the frontdoors goes to him.
Side view with all the doors open.
The interior of Divecar.
Another view. Behind the two front seats are two tables (red 3x1 bricks), an entertainment system between the rear seats. In the front its dashboard (it may look crappy, but I think it looks good in the car).
The back seats can folt completely. When folded completely you have some room to store things like luggage, groceries, etc.
This is a picture of the front engine. It has 10 cylinders in two rows.
Here is the engine in the back of the car. This means the car has no trunk.
It is an 8 cylindre engine with two propshafts. One on the left and one on the right.
The propshafts power the propellers on the outside of DiveCar.
Thanks for reading and watching. Let me know what you think of it.
