AIS T-5KM Super Vetruska
An extensive modification of my previous aircraft and an attempt to implement all the modifications suggested by Steffen Kasteleiner.
About this creation

Everything opens and moves now, as you can see. I've added the back loading ramp, and modified side door using the one from big airplane sets; it now has flaps, and rear lifts (I'm not sure how it's called, I'm not very big with aircraft terminology); and the wings are thicker as per suggestions.

Sadly I couldn't make the rudders moveable and attain the shape, so this will have to do.

The back ramp is something that I'm not very proud of... The entrance is too short, I hope the troops are as well, otherwise there's going to be a lot of head-bumping; and then there's those holes when the ramp is closed... I can always say they are used as counter-measure dispensers. :-P

Now, the wings are folding just like with the real Osprey, and here is a tutorial on how to do it.

First, notice the white 1x2 plates that are on the base of rotor-blades. Remove them.

On each engine two blades can fold and one cannot. You can see the difference is that the foldable blades have hinge plates. Rotate them towards the unfoldable blade.

LDD can sometimes give you trouble with this operation, so you will have to remove the blades, fold them and attach them back. In the end you should get something like this.

Next, remove the plate with the inverted hook. Since these plates along with the 1x2 plates on the rotor-blades are the only white bricks in the creation you can use the colour selection tool.
Before anyone asks, the inverted hook is there for the sake of playability, i.e. so that the wings would stay in place. You can easily remove the restraint grabbing the plate by the hook. It's not perfectly aesthetic but it should make life easier if someone decides to built it for real.

Next step is, logically, to turn the wings clockwise and the engines towards front, and...

Voilà! The aircraft is ready for storage on a carrier. It kind a looks like a transformer like this... :-)

It's easily customisable. Here you can see it in some fictional markings of some fictional air force...

One last image of the glorious Super Kestrel in flight!

Thanks for watching, and I hope this looks better than my last creation ( click here to see it ). If you want to use it feel free to do so, just post a link to this page please.

I like it! All the functionality is awesome. I struggled to get functionality into my own VTOL, but you have managed to pull it all off very well.

Oh, well there is a box on the lower left side, that says "filter bricks by color". See the image here -> http://img151.imageshack.us/img151/8190/32725495.jpg . You can choose all the different colours there. Of course, you can always use the "paint tool" -> http://img836.imageshack.us/img836/2918/98659552.jpg . I hope that helps. Cheers!

Quoting Oscar Kent I LOVE IT. but PLEEEEAAAASE post something to tell how to get bricks like that on ldd
Thank you, but I'm not sure I understand what you are asking me to do. The whole model was created with LDD 4.1.8 in "Universe mode". Whenever you open LDD it asks you what mode you want to create in, and I always choose "Universe" (last one on the right) because it has much more bricks then the other two.
