I took to heart some of the suggestions that were given me, and I applied them to the Echo for an improved unit.
About this creation
The RGAT-131 Mass Production Mobile Suit is an independant venture by a lesser known, and as of yet, unknown corporation that has maintained its anonymity in order to preserve its nuetrality.
Built from the ground up, the Echo Mobile Suit, as it's come to be called, is a very sturdy piece of hardware, featuring a level of durability almost on par with most of the major factions. A good amount of armor protects the mobile suit, while maintaining the speed and agility necesary for combat. Keep in mind, it's no Gundam, but against standard infantry mobile suits, it can hold its own.
Unfortunately, as this was the corporation's first mobile suit to be mass produced, the addition of onboard weaponry was neglected, meaning that a default Echo came with absolutely no weapons. This is offset however by the modularity of the equipment packages that could be mounted to the Echo.
The RGAT-131C is a Close quarters combat mobile suit variant, which mounts a left pauldron with a machine gun, and a right shoulder harness for an Anti-Armor energy sword. Beam sabres can be issued but are not currently considered mandatory. This mobile suit variant is light to maintain necesary mobility for close quarters battle.

Echo Sword:
This variant features an Anti-Armor Energy sword as the primary weapon. The left pauldron also features a fixed Gatling gun, and the right sword harness features a beamsabre.

Echo Beam Buster:
This variant is designed as a heavy weapons platform and features a pair of fixed beam cannons on armored pauldrons, which also mount a twelve round missile rack on each side. Beam cannons have also been fixed to the forearms.

Echo Duo Sword:
This variant trades the left pauldron Gatling for a second paired Armor Sword and beamsabre.

Echo Gundam:
A Gundam-esque head designed for the Echo as an alternate.

COLOR VARIANTS

This color variant is directly derived fromt he Strike Dagger, since I used it as reference. It looks decent.

My Fiancee is a Gundam Girl, so I figured while I'm at it, I might as make a variant for her in her favorite color. IT turned out rather well, wouldn't you say?
CREDITS:
Credit to Thomas Z, to whose mobile suits I drew the initial inspiration, and a few of his techniques.
Credit to Gundam SEED for the Strike Dagger, of which I used as a reference for the shaping and design.
CREATOR's NOTES
Okay, some improvements and two new variants, the Dual-sword, and the Beam Buster. The Sword holsters now feature beam sabres, and the proportions are better in my opinion. What do you think?

Great work! I have never really been able to get the vibe of the Gundam Suits down, but you have got it going on with Echo. Great color selection too! The only improvement it needs is to be made a reality! |

Yeah, I recalled that you said you weren't fond of the Gundam Coloring Style. And I can see the appeal of the Anti Ship Swords, I think they look cool as well, I just think the advantages of a beam saber is defected when adding such a large physical portion, I've read over arguments about the weapon but nothing convinced me, aside from the Rule of Cool. In all honesty, I think Thomas and you should keep in your respected themes, though it was fun to see what you two came up with. |

Hmmm, the head looks more normal now that you expanded the rest of the MOC, though the color scheme doesn't have that Gundam feel to it, but that may be me personally. Just keep in mind it's not a bad color scheme. Other than that, I feel that for your first attempt working with this style, it's a solid build, well designed, weapons look great, though I still have a personal issue with SEED style ntiship swords. The only issue I see with this MOC is that you still don't feel 100 percent comfortable with the style quite yet, but that is kind of to be expected when working out of your comfort zone, maybe working more with this style will change that. Once again, nice work. |

Well, to be honest, I didn't really want to color it "like a Gundam" because I'm not too fond of how they do it. But I did include the Strike Dagger colorscheme to prove that I can do it. Personally, I love the look of the SEED antiship swords, but then that's me. I may or may not continue this style, but I do have a little more to showcase before that fateful decision. Thanks for the feedback! |

Pretty good considering you don't have much experience. I'd say the part about this which I would fix first would be the arms. They are too thick, just as thick as the legs. Gundam arms are fairly skinny compared to the legs, or at least, skinnier. Next I'd say the point where we see the transition from the shin to the ankle could use some work. I'd say just try to cover the black pieces better. There are a few other little things that peeve me a little, but those are the major ones. On another note, you've done a pretty good job on creating the body, so well done in that category.
Actually, based on the image I used as reference, the arms are almost as thick as the legs. And I didn't want to do an EXACT duplication. I wanted to do my rendition of a mobile suit, so there's going to be alot of things off, but that's okay, I want it to be like that. Also, granted, the feet are imperfect, but that's because they're my own solution, and will probably see several renditions before I complete their design. I am glad you liked the torso, which aside from the head, was the part that worried me the most. Thank you for you feedback and your advice. I'll keep it in mind if I make another. |

Now that's more like it! It clearly looks better with the longer legs! I think you should try to build some more different MSs! Maybe a mono-eyed one for next? xd
We'll have to see. I still feel unaccustomed to the MS style, and I still prefer my own AEGAKS. Good news though. I'm going to be getting parts soon, so you should be seeing more AEGAKS from me in the coming months. Yours was pretty nifty too, though I'm not very fond of the "Gundam" colors. |

After you change the color to Strike Dagger style, I finally know where is this mecha comes from due to I'm not so familiar with strike dagger. Again, very nice build for a builder first build gundam related mecha! Keep going and enjoy it! You did a great job!
Thanks, I'm not too much a Gundam fan, but I must admit, the overall structure is rather entertaining to toy with. I really liked your latest Wing Zero, and that also happens to be my fiancee's favorite one. I actually liked the HeavyArms of all the ones I've seen. |
