About this creation
This creation was inspired by the platform beds used in Japan. I was originally going to use it in a much larger diorama for the Project: AEGAKS community, but my impatience seemed to get the better of me. For all I know, it may end up in the creation someday, as I plan on constructing it.

(For those of you unaware of who Luxo is, he's the Pixar Animation Studios lamp.)



A slight side-track from the build was the creation of a second prototype for a desk lamp. I'm content with the way it looks.

All of the platform bed's accessories: cheap-looking iPady thing, digital clock, and desk/bedside table lamp.



Ooh... Moooooooonliiiiiiiiight *.*

I was originally going to have an anime-inspired couple asleep in the bed (nothing dirty), but I thought that it would be best if I not follow that route (others may believe it to be dirty even though it was not my intent). No PG ratings from me (yet)! (Overusing parenthetical statements FTW!)

Hey look, it's not Lego. That's the basic idea of a platform bed. While my creation isn't 100% alike, I think it works. I'm very happy with the way mine turned out.
