The F/A-40 is a twin-seat, all-weather sixth-generation air superiority fighter with stealth capability and variable forward-sweep wing to gain and maintain air superiority in aerial combat. It was a joint project between Conglomerate and Tongoria.
About this creation
The Zeus is capable of hypersonic flight with combined Pulse Detonation/Scramjet engines. It has a limited maximum speed of mach 3.
Let’s start with a 360 view.

Cockpit, equipped with multi-mission avionics system includes a HUD, advanced radar, flight instruments, ultra high frequency (UHF) communications, and Tactical Air Navigation (TACAN). It also has an internally mounted, tactical electronic-warfare system, Identification, Friend or Foe (IFF) system electronic countermeasures suite and a central digital computer. For dogfights it’s equipped with a 25mm chain gun with high rate of fire behind a trapdoor next to the cockpit.
This picture shows the air intakes for the twin Gurijev pulse detonation engines. When more power is needed it is equipped with a scramjet engine too.
Thrust-vectoring is giving it a better maneuverability. The F/A-40 can climb to 11,000 m in around 60 seconds. The thrust output of the dual engines is greater than the aircraft's weight, thus giving it the ability to accelerate in a vertical climb up to 22,000 m.
The Zeus has VTOL capability, this is the front VTOL engine.
VTOL engine from down.
Getting ready for take off. On this picture you can also see that it has a fully working landing gear.
Main engines in take off position.
Missiles are stored in an internal bay for increased stealth capability. It fits 10 missiles, air-to-ground or air-to-air. The SCRAMJET engine's air intake is behind the internal bay.
Wings can sweep fully forward, that way the wings provide the least drag. The maximum speed is still unknown
The F/A.40 has a really nice shape with closed wings …
…and with open wings too.
This is an air-show variant with a really nice paintjob.

Cost:very expensive
Speed: 30
Maneuverability: 22
Rate of Fire: 8
Range (Weapons):15

Very interesting concept and design! And it has great details, like the vertical ability, with opening flaps! Great work! |

Although Ldd isnt my fave, this is a great looking bird! Nice work. But, I thought we decided scramjets/pulse detonation engines are not allowed to be used in Conflict on manned aircraft??
Both of them exist today and it have a limited speed. |
