They call that a sport? :Think far off into the future and give us your take on what the national past time may be in the next century or so!
In 2095 nobody played Miniature Golf anymore cause they all moved on to much "cooler" sports. This made all the Miniature Golf courses close down and their owners peruse other occupations. But one Mr. C. Doosenburg was determined to save Miniature Golf. So he came up with "Zero Gravity Miniature Golf!" Combining multiple platforms and a zero gravity chamber, he made billions on this new idea and Miniature Golf became popular once again.

This was pretty fun to build, I first had to figure out what sport to do, which took a few days.
The spheres were also fun to make. I used my own design and Legohaulic's so, cheers to him. ;)
Here's the whole thing. :)
Sorry for some bad pics. My camera was acting up.
The planets have their own little gravity generators so people and golf balls don't go floating off.
Da vig without da figs!
And this also part of the entry, a rocket golf-cart. :)

Hey, I'm going to have a largeish contest and I'd like for you to be a judge, the only downside is that you can't compete. :/ It'll be a tournament-style one-on-one elimination competition where you build the other guy's self moc. The contest is still in the planning stages, but I think I'll get it started (i.e. done with applications and into round 1) by new year's.
Both concepts are very cool, stayed true to the category, and well-built. I like what you did with the ring around the planet. However, your opponent's MOC has a more 'sporty' atmosphere with the actual competition going on and everything that happens in a sports event. My vote goes to your opponent.
Man, I wouldn't want to be one of the judges on this one! I like both of the entries. My favorites of yours is the universe playing 'field' and the crazy Hawaiian shirt worn by the guy in the golf cart! Best of Luck! :)
