About this creation
Triton Scout ship departs Galactica. Admiral Matthew Mahan, Captain Nancy Dendauw, and Marine Squad aboard.

Dendauw: "Damn it, Admiral, I don't like it! They're definitely hiding something from us!"

Mahan: "I know what you mean, Nancy. When I asked about their companion ship, Nempec clearly appeared uncomfortable. An escort vessel? I don’t think so."

Dendauw: "And they know something about Kobol, too, Sir. Maybe they’ve been there? That ship must be capable of jumps farther than anything we can plot. Notice they didn't give us any details on their home planet, either."

Mahan: "Yes, we have a lot to learn about our long lost brothers and sisters. Judging from their Commander Air Group, Maverick, I bet Cougar might get some useful intel. Through an indirect approach, that is."

Dendauw: "Excellent idea, Admiral! I’ll put her on the next patrol."

Galactica
Caprica Orbit

Galactica Hangar Deck. CMDR L. Barto, call sign Maverick, LT Kevin Moodster, call sign Strummer.
Maverick: "Alright, Strummer, you’ll be my wingman on the next patrol."

Mav: "The plan is to hook up with their CAG, and try and to see if we might score some info through, let’s say, less formal channels."

Mav: "Maybe invite 'em over for a little tour, maybe a few drinks."

Strummer: "Got it, Commander!"

Meanwhile...
Chrissy Phipson, executive assistant to Parrington Levopolis.

Landing aboard Galactica just prior to the kidnapping, Phipson now endeavors to find the whereabouts of her employer and mentor.

She is now able to walk the halls of the ship without garnering the attention that her initial arrival generated. However, she has recently become frustrated due to the many distractions since returning to the Colonies. But she hopes the crew’s focus will soon return to locating and rescuing Mr. Levopolis.

Athena: "Be patient, your search for the missing one will begin in the coming days."

Phipson: "Excuse me?"

Athena: "You must be ready to take advantage of whatever opportunity presents itself. The fate of all living things may depend upon it!"

Phipson: "But..."
Athena: "Make your desires known to the others, they will listen to you. Now go!"

Phipson: "Huh...?"

Phipson: "Oh, I’ll get their attention alright!"

Triton Viper Patrol

Galactica Combat Air Patrol

Mav: "Alright Strummer, there they are. I’ve got it from here, take it in."
Strummer: "Aye, Sir. See you in the Mess!"

Mav: "Triton Patrol, on your six, permission to form up."
Cougar: "This is Cougar. Permission granted. Sending my wingman in."

Mav: "Call sign Maverick. Nice day to fly, eh?"

Cougar: "It’s always a nice day to fly!"

Mav to himself: "Excellent!"

Mav: "If yo'’re not busy later, how about a little tour of Galactica? Can’t let the brass have all the fun!"
Cougar: "Sounds good to me! I'll see you on deck!"

Galactica Flight: "This is Galactica, Cougar, you’re clear for hands on approach. Call the ball."
Cougar: "Copy that, Galactica. Hands on approach. I’ve got the ball."

Cougar: "Maglock secure."
Galactica Flight: "Welcome aboard, Cougar."

Galactica Hangar Deck

Mav: "Nifty fighters they've got!"
Kuo: "Stylish."

Cougar: "Whoa! This place is huuuuge!"

Cougar: "The hangar bay is almost as big as the Triton!"

Mav: "Welcome aboard! Leonard Barto, I'm the CAG."

Cougar: "Ourania, Major Leda Ourania. Good to meet you, Commander."

Mav: "This is our deck chief, Lt Kuo."
Cougar: "Glad to meet you, too! Take good care of my ship!"

Kuo: "We'll park it in a nice spot."

Cougar: "This is quite a Battlestar. Seems like it's built it for extended missions?"
Mav: "The last crew had lived here for over three years."

Cougar: "Amazing! How long have you been aboard?"

Crew: "Whoa, a real live alien!"
Crew: "And she’s hot!"
Crew: "She can abduct me ANY time!"

Kuo: "Well, over a year now, I think, right Mav?"
Mav: "Something like that. From the initial discovery, to he refurbishing, then the supply runs. That's when we, and the entire Air Wing, moved on board."

Cougar: "Discovery? "
Kuo: "Yes, this ship was originally from the Colonies, then hidden in an asteroid belt. It was only discovered a few years ago, by Commander Nempec and the Colonel, actually."

Cougar: "Fascinating! So you don't have a fleet of ships like this one?"
Mav: "No, not quite yet. But we're working on it. Maybe by the time we get home. Anyway, here’s the mess hall!"

Bones: "Hey, Commander, why don't you and your new friend pull up a chair!?!"
Kuo: "Nice to see you, too, Bones!"

Strummer: "Gee, I like your flight suit! I mean..."
Cougar: "Thanks for noticing, gotta stay in shape when you have to put one of these on everyday!"

Bones: "That's for sure! Yowza!"
Mav: "Okay, settle down..."

Cougar: "Thanks anyway for the invite, but I've got to get back to the Triton."
Kuo: "No problem, I'll take you back to the hangar."

Strummer: "Bye..."
Bones: "Get a grip, Dude!"

Cougar: "Friendly bunch!"
Kuo: "I know, it’s exhausting."

Cougar: "Same in our fleet. Not much time for that sort of thing, with the war and all. But most of us don't know any different."
Kuo: " How is the war progressing? Sounds like you have an advantage."

Cougar: "Well, things have calmed down a bit recently. In fact we were expecting them to show up here near Caprica when you arrived. Our fear is that the Athenians are up to something, something big. And I don’t like to wait around."
Kuo: "I don't blame you."
Cougar: "Our hope is that Galactica might tip the balance in our favor..."

Kuo: "Anyway, it was good to talk to you! Maybe some of us will get a chance to come over and check out the Triton."

Cougar: "I’d like that..."

Kuo: "Uh..."
Cougar: "Okay, gotta go!"

Specialist: "Alright, Major, all fueled up and ready to fly!"

Cougar: "Thanks, Mate!"

Parrington Levopolis, Inventor and Venture Capitalist, held prisoner on an unknown alien vessel.

Athenian: "Please exit the holding chamber."

Levopolis: "The restraints will not be necessary, I assure you. I would appreciate being informed of the reasons for my continued presence on this ship. What is it that you require of me?"

Athenian: "Very well, Mr. Levopolis. In light of our failure to access the information we desire utilizing traditional techniques, we have decided to attempt an alternate means to stimulate your memory."

Athenian: "Please proceed down the corridor..."

Levopolis: "I understand that memories from my youth interest you for some reason. But how did you know in advance that I was the one you needed?"

Athenian: "We did not, we simply had an opportunity, and we took it."

Athenian: "Therefore it must be the Will of the Gods that brought you to us."

Levopolis: "What is the ultimate goal in all of this, may I ask?"

Athenain: "We mustn't squander the chance to discover what Athena wishes for our people, and yours as well."

Athenian: "That is what we intend to determine..."

"...and perhaps soon we will find the answers."

I like the WHOLE thing, The Athenians and the Cyclons catch my interest, Also the 'Galactica' from you has most accurate hallways.
I think a parental guider thingy would be in order, Seeing as there's a bit of (*Cough*) 'Stuff' for (*cough*) older audiences , That is all, Other than I think you did a wonderful job on the story-Telling aspect.
I try and keep things limited to innuendo. Thanks for the comment! |

Impressive! The other viper design is excellent, especially the landing gear. Also, the pillar in the mess hall caught my attention. The sloped bricks looks great together, and I'm surprised something that seems so simple can look so amazing! Great work!
It's been a while since I got that set out, but it comes in handy. I was pleased with the new viper, too, made use of some Atlantis pieces, which fit right into the Poseidon theme. Glad you liked the show! |

nice work on this! as interesting as the story was, probably the best part was seeing your work on the models shown in the pictures. I especially love the Vipers. Vipers are, along with a couple others (X-Wings and Banshees, for example), one of those unique sci-fi fighter designs that really makes a name for itself. but you certainly took it to a new level.
by the way, I happen to have a good friend on LEGO.Com (yeah, I know, total heresy here on MOCpages :P) named Maverick (that's not his full username it's just too long to say the whole thing). it caught my interest when you called one of the characters that, especially when you shortened it to Mav (which is what I and others often call my friend). is it just a coincidence?
Thanks for the comment, Dude! It is also customary, if you like a moc, to hit the I Like It smiley button. Anyway, Mav was a nickname of mine in high school, back when the movie Top Gun first came out, so no, probably no connection there. You should watch it, it's a classic! |

Ok, the mysterious spacestation thingy is intriguing and a very cool build. The plot is getting thicker, and the interiors of Galactica (especially the hanger deck)are beastly! This series is getting intense, to be sure. Guess I'm going to need some advice on 'shopping in engine exhaust as an attempt made today isn't quite what I'm looking for. Anyway, great episode. I'm curious as to the scene where the goddess appears to Chrissy -- something tells me that will not end happily.
I try and work that hangar deck in as much as possible. For some reason I was thinking I might need to expand it--insane, right? Funny, no one has mentioned the Cougar-Kuo hand holding connection there at the end of their scene together? Engine exhausts are a p.i.a., so I just use a simple spray paint, white, blue, then smudge. Thanks, Dennis! |

nice work on this! as interesting as the story was, probably the best part was seeing your work on the models shown in the pictures.

Great episode, I'm very interested to see how this is all going to play out. To many seprate agendas going on at the same time. Someone is gonna get caught on the wrong end of the stick. Can't wait to see what happens next.
Yes, lots of plates spinning at the same time. Big op coming up in the near future, so stay tuned! Thanks, Mike! |

Those robots (Athenians right??? I dunno what they are called, so sue me! haha!) and your new vipers look so cool! The episode was great too I might add.
Thanks again! Yes, they're robots, but not Cylons. All will be revealed... |

Cougar seems like a faker with too many possibilities. Both Dendauw and Mahan spoke of her overly fondly. Kuo and Maverick can have their shot at her at the same time, and I even see Strummer getting used as a loose lipped patsy. As far as Simon getting his, that sounds more like a threat than a holiday gift. Then again, it's all about the surprise, isn't it? |

Another spectacular and enthralling episode that keeps one scrolling that cursor down the screen, reading and looking at all the work and thought that goes into creating a master piece. That new ship is a great teaser. WELL DONE DUDE.....
Thanks again, Garry! This was a long episode, but I wanted to keep it all together. Who knows what will happen inside that station?!? |

A Cougar using an indirect approach? You do come up with inovative stuff. I'm a little
disturbed you seem to be lining up most of the action for yourself though. With the holidays
coming up and everything. Where's the spreading of the love? Do the enlisted grunts, like that
marine Simon, ever get a shindig aboard Triton? Love that base in orbit in the last few shots.
Amazing how well applied simplicity hits the spot.
Didn't you notice the love connection between Cougar and the Lt? Pvt Simon will be getting his soon enough! Thanks, Dude! |
