How come I missed this one?!? OMG!! Brilliant! Two things I'm keen on: the balance between the castle and the natural land that surrounds it (great idea to insert water); the way you composed the walls. Very accurate. I like the drawbridge, rarely seen. |

Wow, this is spectacular! You made the wall colors with a primary, secondary, and accent, which adds to the authenticity of the castle. The architecture is great in both the walkways and towers and the fine details such as the lion heads and windows. The tree and moat outside just complete the castle feel to its fullest, being a "Riverside Castle." If only LEGO sold this and I had this much talent. |

Hmm... The river could make a turn around the castle (that would be a very good location for a castle, you should remember that aspect), also, I'm not so sure about trans plates over water... It would look so much better in studless or SNOT. I love the addition of sand red into the walls, very realistic and not overdone. Perfect balance of wall colouring and texture. Thanks Deus. Lego water is such a debated subject, up there with pre-destination and evolution; but I think plain blue is just the wrong color. If I had enough light blue that SNOTed would definitely be the way to go. Glad you like the color variations in the wall, my personal favorite part. |

Oh, on Mocpages now! Okay, lets see, great castle, great water, great forest. Check, check, check. Haha, I am never going to get sick of commenting on this. Mocpages has some more pics which are incredible! The branches in that tree are very well done mate. Great work Ru!
Thanks Blake! |

Nicely done my friend! I was starting to wonder when we would see another castle from you! You and Phillip did a fantastic job! The colors look really nice (still jealous about all those sand red pieces)! I also like how you made that tree! Very well done ;D |

Ru...I'm speechless. Okay maybe that's a little exaggerated, I can still say a thing or two. This is brilliant! Even though I've never really attempted to build castle theme (due to lack of pieces), it's probably my favorite theme. You've definitely done it justice here. Wow! Wonderful job! The moat is awesome! I can't really think of much else to say. Thanks Ian! Your right to say that castle building is parts intensive, I used up a ton of bricks on this. |

Ru, this is one of your best creations so far! The Dio is put together really well, the balance between objects and space is superb - and as others have said - the composition used for the castle walls is brilliant. I would suggest experimenting with your rivers a bit, though the water looks nice I have to ask how often have you seen a strait river? :) Overall a really awesome build! Annie give your bro a pat on the back for this one lol. ~Thoy
Thanks Thoy! I always enjoy getting feedback from you. I will certainly work on rivers more, and I think your most recent upload will be a great place for some curve inspiration. |

This is great! I love the odd colored bricks scattered into the walls. the only thing that I think could be improved is the courtyard area as it seems a bit plain. but hey it's a castle, not a courtyard |
