'47 pontiac torpedo based on digital one of Rolands Kirpis

About this creation

When I took a closer look at the Pontiac of Rolands Kirpis I saw I should be able to built it. I don't have orange bricks, not enough dark grey and yellow so I changed the paintjob a bit. I like the digital one more but mine is real. There are some differences between the digital one and mine, first of course I dont have all the bricks. Second, I found out that the digital version is nice to see but so fragile that it would break under its own weight. So to make is less fragile and to save some weight I changed some details.

And this is the result:

A Pontiac Torpedo from 1947, custom painted with:

-independent and steered front axle
-solid axle with dif in the rear
-working 'six' engine
-hood and trunk open, doors don't to keep the car solid

enjoy:

Inside the car, custom red interior. I did not cover the doors on the inside because of the curves. There would be big gaps on the outside or too much tension on the carrosserie

Wow, I love that you have made this car, when I saw the digital one I was blown away. To see it for real is awesome. I think it´s so uplifting to see people using each others uploads and giving the due credit.

Yea... sweet memories. It was times when I had so little experience with real bricks. It is totaly possible that my design would break in peaces by its own weight. I must say - I miss the paintjob :) But your outcome is great none the less. And thanks for the credit.
