About this creation
This is the MAV-60, the largest Artillery cannon in the world (conflict). It shoots a 402 mm round every 21 seconds, a time greatly improved by its mostly automated systems. It is capable of propelling it's projectile over 167 miles (268 km), Mostly thanks to its revolutionary new ammunition design. the acronym given to this type of vehicle (because as you know the military loves their acronyms) is Extreme Long Range Mobile Artillery Support Vehicle, or ELRMASV for short.

Why so big you ask? well, theres three reasons. One, to assist troops deeply behind enemy lines which will most likely be a Black Ops team or other Special Forces. Two, to break down enemy strongholds, bases and fortifications before ever putting troops in the way of harm. Three, just to say we have the biggest frikkin Artillery gun in the world :D.

Here we see the opening doors and part of the interior drivers hatch with all of the targeting, navigation and sensor equipment. Seats for two.
Here we can see the blast shields for the windows so that the occupants dont get fried if a bomb goes off. lets face it, glass ain't the strongest material ever.

Blast Shields open.

Blast Shields closed. Thank god theres external cameras to drive with.

Here we see the rotating base for the cannon... rotated, a little bit...

And the back of the swivel platform, not much too see here except the shock absorbing plates because the recoil doesn't absorb all of the inertial energy. So, to make sure the cannon takes no damage, these plates absorb the shock and dispel it evenly.

The cannon is locked down and ready for the MAV to Drive off to the next Designated Fire Position.

Well, I hope you like it, and remember to rate and comment.

Awesome! That's a huge mobile artillery piece! Very cool build, nice details with the rotating turret and those window covers. I think i need one of these for my army :-D |

Epic and it Almost looks like the Chinies Nuke cannon from Command and conquer generals with out the support pegs that holds it down when firing. ELRMASV is a mouth full, I now what I am naming it "The Hammer" or "Dawns Hammer". |

Great zot, look at the SIZE of that thing! You didn't build an artillery, you built a record setting cannon and strapped wheels on it! Great job, I'm tempted to snatch (and modify) that cannon design for something of my own.
I don't mind at all, just if it looks extremely similar to the original (mine) just say where you got the inspiration from please. |

WOW! That is one BIG artillery piece! But, I'm currently developing a new one, that can shoot up to 470mm rounds. (!) So, guess you won't have the biggest frikkin artillery for long...
we had a discussion about huge artillery pieces right after i made this, they were mad at mere for making something so huge, they made a rule that artillery cant go larger that 405 mm. mine is supposed to be the standard for big artillery. unless yours is a railway gun, then it can go up to 630 mm |

So, do you think that a train gun so large that it requires two parellel sets of tracks to simply hold it is pushing it?
i dont know, i have mixed feelings about it. you would have to talk to nemesis to find out.
but the rise of effective bombing aircraft ended the need for a railway gun in WWII (in earth history anyway). |

Alright, that's it.... Artillery size war!
LOL, well actually... i just kinda chuckled to myself so... CKQ (Chuckle Kinda Quitly). plus i think im pushing the rules with this peice, if you want to make one of similar size, i think that will work but unless we get permission i dont think we can get any bigger. |

So many levels of awesome. Your vehicles may be a bit rough, but always turn out to be some of the best in conflict. 5*
I like the rough, rugged look though. |
