A military drone designed for mass production and deployment.
About this creation
Ulkrom Tech was a company on Spherus Magna that manufactured all kinds of useful mechanical devices. Suddenly, after the company had been seemingly all but wiped out, it was taken over by a mysterious new manager. Immediately after this, the company began developing only military equipment and weapons. The exact reason for this is currently unknown. This battle drone is the current apex of Ulkrom multi-purpose military technology.
some leg details.
This is the standard twin rifle modular arm attachment. A standard ranged weapon, it fires bolts of high-energy plasma at rapid speed.
The drone's other main weapon is a modular powershock blade. The energy pack attached can be used to strengthen the blade's attack by electrifying the blade's edge.
Both of these weapons can often be dual-wielded to great effect.
Various equipment can also be mounted on the back, including...
...the dual-rotor compact flight apparatus.
This attachment greatly increases a drone's mobility by allowing for short periods of aerial movement. This allows for the drone to hover above a battlefield and safely dispatch enemies from a distance or soar over the enemy defenses.
The drone's feet can also be fitted with small propellors to aid in maneuvering.
Another modular component is the articulated heavy charge cannon. This module was designed for the purpose of using against large, heavily armored targets.
In order to charge to full power without completely draining the drone's power core, the unit is paired with an arm-mounted reserve battery.
The cannon partially extended...
...and the cannon fully extended. A single, fully charged shot is more than enough enough to easily destroy most armored vehicles. However, the long recharge time gives the heavy cannon a very slow rate of fire, and the extra weight limits the drone's maneuverability.
The reserve power cell can also be used to power other modules as well.
This drone is fitted with a ceremonial Ulkrom corporate logo. (because, what else would it be? :P)
All of the current Ulkrom hornet class modular weapon attachments.
Here's a weird close-up of the torso...
...and also, a look at how the armor is attached.
FUN FACT: this MOC was made almost entirely because I wanted to use Bitil's mask as armor. I can remember putting it together... the torso took absolute AGES to figure out. :P It was my first truly custom torso, and I'm still proud of how it came out. It was originally going o have just propellors on the back, and then I came up with the idea of having it be detachable, and the modular parts concept was born! When it was first made, the arms were too long and the legs were ugly... however, I think I've pretty much fixed that. (I pretty much used all of my yellow lego parts... :P ) Also, sorry about the long delay... I've just been VERY busy lately. (you know, school and all that...) Anyway, please feel free to rate or comment to let me know what you think! :)
Alright, I was making sure since I didn't see it on the Homepage... Also, I don't check through the creations section to make sure MOCs are added. In all honesty, it doesn't matter a lot to me if you guys add the MOC or not, it's to help you guys out more than anything.
I like it

Hey Man. To begin, I really enjoyed the amount of add on features that were made for this MOC, it's a nice touch. I also liked how you kept the overall structure simple, yet stylish, it ties in with the Drone aspect of the MOC. As I looked over this, the only actual issue that stuck out to me was the head. While I feel that the head carries the Drone Aspect, I can't help but feel the neck protrudes out of the neck, it made for an awkward shape in my eyes, if you could make that area flow into the neck, that would help greatly. Other than that, I really don't see any major issues with the MOC, great job, and again, I really liked all the gear you made for this.

Sweet, it's good to see you going custom, you did it well in this moc, the yellow came out nice! Just a tip, try making more custom mocs (even just a torso makes it that much better) :)
Thanks for the advice, and I have been trying to use more custom designs lately. (I hope to make more actual MOCs soon once I get done posting most of the ones I have lying around.)
