One of my first Lego BattleBots. Extremely violent! This is about the third or fourth version of this bot, each version bringing more advanced upgrades. It weighs 1 pound and 4.6 ounces, or 584 grams.
About this creation
A 8-inch blade that is 1 and 2/3 of a brick thick. One of the biggest blades I've ever seen.

This shows the 3 to 1 gear reduction on the drive motors. I gear a 24 tooth gear to the 8 tooth gear to make the bot go three times as fast! I also use 2 wheels on each side for more traction and torque. The model of the wheel/tire is (3482 / 3483). Two M motors are used for the drive.
Here's a new concept! A 11.1 LiPo (Lithium Polymer) battery instead of the 6AA battery pack that all other Lego bots use! Makes the robot about 133% faster and more powerful than all other BattleBots! The only reason I have to keep the Lego battery pack in the robot is for the on/off switch it provides.
The battery is connected to the LiPo pack through a JR connector. This also shows that the XL weapon motor is securely mounted down by many lift-arms and pins. That motor isn't going anywhere! Unfortunately, for now the weapon is connected directly to the battery due to having only one other receiver which is being used in another robot.
This is the best photo I could get of the gear reduction without taking the whole robot apart. 3 to 1 or 24 to 8 gear reduction again. The XL motor hits with a lot more inertia and torque than the M motor. The M motor went a tad bit faster than the XL, but since it is ran at 11.1 volts, the spike in voltage often made the receiver power down the weapon. Still, plenty violent!
