AIS T-4K Vetruska
An attempt to make V-22 Osprey-like aircraft from the 7723 and 7738 Lego sets. You'll be the judge to tell whether I succeeded or not.
About this creation

I had an idea to convert the 7723 Police pontoon plane into an Osprey and here's what came out. The front part is transplanted from the 7738 Coast guard helicopter set. The engines are not much like the real thing but it looks better to me this way. Just a subjective opinion of mine.

The cockpit is an overkill, but I'm proud of it.

Troop transport area in the back. The benches are fairly simple.

Back door opened.

I hope I managed to recreate the tail properly. It should be very sturdy just like all my creations.

And here are some random "in flight" images...

I hope you liked it, and if anyone was wondering Vetruska stands for Kestrel in my native language. Comment and rate it, and if you are using it please post a link to this page.

Thanks for the suggestions Steffen, I'll give it a go. I'm not sure how long will it take, though. :-)

Hey Milos, thats a pretty nice model of an Osprey-alike aircraft. The rotor blades you chose look great, as does the overall shape. The frontal perspective when the propellers are vertically tilted look super realistic and very close to the real deal. Id like to suggest making the wings a little thicker by maybe using some sort of slopes/rounded slopes for the leading edge - the real thing has pretty substantial and thick wings... Then you could raise the wings a bit more, as they are mounted quite high above the general fuselage. One last thing is that Id love to see a rear ramp as well - but that would mean you would have to build the rear section from scratch, without using the aircraft tail that Lego offers with their aircraft kits... Would it be an interesting challenge for you to rebuild it that way? Cause that, I think, would make it even better. Anyways, a nice model! Best regards, Steffen
