This is my entry for the MIT it's me verses Seth (Jag) in the category-Is Today Thorsday Already? - Create your own version of an aspect of Norse Mythology. I decided to create a scene where a dreaded sea serpent attacks a merchant ship in the middle of the ocean. Btw the eyes aren't photoshopped they where made using a light brick. Honestly I don't think that I'll win but it was worth a shot. Enjoy!

As the sailors where taking another load of cargo to Sweden they began to see shapes in the black as coal water. They figured that it was just fish, but they couldn't be sure. As they began to grab their weapons they heard a loud wailing scream. It hadn't come from any of them, but it came from.................the water. As they ran to the deck they met the eyes of the terrible serpent that would soon become their doom. It's eyes glowed with a faintish red light as it's teeth hung looking half starved. Then a great, poisonous, flaming tongue burst forth leaving the men screaming in fear. Their screams could be heard on the shores of Sweden which was just a mile away.

The ship is fantastic and the serpent is a very nice build as well. The details from the shields to the decorative elements on the ship are great and really set your build apart. You have my vote!

Yeah, I was kind of rushed on the photo taking. If I make it to the next round then photography will be MUCH better.

I in a way agree with Decker about the lighting, but that's really only to see the MOC better, I love the feel you gave it >:D Anyway, what an epic MOC! Love the sea monster, reminds me of Godzilla :P And the boat and figures look epic! Great work ;)

Maybe you could get better lighting, the lighting is a little off and it's hard to see. Other than that, it's great. =)
