Firstly I must give credit for the basic design of this model to Nolnet who's Brickshelf gallery here: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=333586
Was the initial inspiration for this model.
I own a T3 Westfalia, a Syncro 4x4 model as it happens, so finding Nolnet's MOC was a great start for me. I have made a number of changes that I feel better represent my own vehicle, specifically the Westfalia pop-top elevating roof, the earlier chrome bumpers, which I've modeled to a half stud offset which entailed quite a reworking of the front and rear. Also I've re-modeled the side profiles slightly.

Cool simple design. Nice built! Maybe you could transform it in Richard Hammonds Dampervan from Topgear.

I finally got around to taking some pics and uploading you mean. I am really pleased with this model, and do feel that the changes I made are very important to the overall look, but it must be said that the real kudos should go to Nolnet.
