Zak-438

About this creation
Weight: 30 tonnes
Engine: Zexo RD-400 (397 hp) turbo-diesel engine
Speed: 62 km/h
Range: ~500 km
Crew:2 (1 driver and 1 operator)

First, a 360 view

Arcade2 APS with extended capacity.

My favourite part, the Zexo RD-400 turbo-diesel engine with the opening cabin.

For easier loading it is equipped with a crane.

Engine’s exhaust and one of the fuel tanks .

There’s a bigger fuel tank on the other side.

Reloading the new upcoming MRLS.

Zak-438/LRA
It's a next-generation self-propelled artillery system for Tongoria. The heart of the system is a fully automated 160 mm/L52 gun howitzer

Armament: Da-8 L/52 160mm mm howitzer
Rate of fire: 18-20 rounds/min with MRSI (Multiple Round Simultaneous Impact) capability, which means that several shells are released in succession but hit the target simultaneously.
Range (of artillery fire): 30 km with standard shells, 40 km with rocket-assisted, 60 km with Arrow.
Protection level: can withstand small arms fire, Arcade2 APS

Armed with a Da-8 L/52 160mm gun. Turret can store 20 shells in a fully automatic magazine and an additional 40 shell in the truck for reloading.

A large hydraulically operated stabilizer is installed in the rear of the chassis. They are folded down, almost ready to fire.

Barrel extended, gun on target, ready to fire. The modular charge system allows several increments of charge to be available and increases the gun system's multiple rounds simultaneous impact (MRSI) capability. Maximum MRSI capability is 7.

Reloading the turret for another strike. It can be reloaded under 3 minutes from the vehicle.

A propaganda poster. Idea came from Brickviller.

Quoting Brickviller - IU really like the artillery you've build. Was the 'shell'around it your own idea, because I've not seen that before.
It was my own idea, I saw a similar on the Archer artillery system but it only covers the barrel. That's where I got the inspiration from.
