11-15-11: More progress, landing gear has been added, and there have been a lot of little changes too.
A "rough draft" of a P-38 Lightning... just ordered a few pieces, and still have to figure out a good landing gear solution, which I expect to be the trickiest part. It should look quite different next time I post pics, if there are any suggestions, fire away!!!

Amazing! This is by far the best P-38 on the Pages! It's also my All-Time favorite plane! Great job! |

Hey cut back on these improvements, your starting to make me rethink how mine looks ;) , looks even better now then it did the last time. I really like that new landing gear, they may not function but those doors look really cool.
Thanks! I put those landing gear in place until I have a good working set finished, which is in the works. Hopefully I will have them finished by the weekend! |

I do have a lot of parts! Bricklink has been a big help too, the parts are pretty cheap but even one project will add up... Sometimes I overdo it on how much I spend! |

Oh, so those are the turbo chargers, OK. I think the LEGO part is some sort of hinge joint actuly. I think I might actuly have a coople from one of my Exo-Force sets that got blown up a long time ago, I will have to check. It's amazing how many planes you build so fast, you must have a ton of parts, or a much larger budget then me to buy more. |

Please feel free to borrow anything you would like! I'm not too sure exactly what those pieces are! I'll find the part info and let you know, I bought them hoping they would work good for landing gear, but they ended up being good turbo chargers for the p-38s engines... I'll let you know! |

Really nice so far, good luck with that landing gear though, mine is a little bigger and I could bearly fit it. I hope you don't mind, but I might borrow that tailpipe disign on the engines using those hing joint thingies. It look better then my design for the tailpipes, those are tailpipes, right? |
