Rescue Engine 3824
About this creation
Almost done, just awaiting some striping and decals.

Sporting a 1500 GPM pump with 500 gallons of water. This engine is first out to all calls within the village and responds to all vehicle accidents and rescues in the townships. 24 carries a full complement of TNT hydraulic rescue tools, a Res-Q-Jack vehicle stabilization system, HAZMAT containment gear, rope and water rescue equipment as well as EMS equipment, medical oxygen and a paramedic level drug box.

Some other features include an electric monitor, on-board generator and hydraulic pump, Nightscan light tower, firefighting tools, MCI triage tags, elevator rescue keys, chainsaw, extinguishers and water cans, cribbing, 5" hose in the bed, 2 1/2" hose and 1 3/4" hose crosslays and a high rise pack.

Middlebrick had come up with the original concept design for this truck, but wanting to really capture the spirit of the truck's real life counterpart we sought help from the experienced builders at West Bottombrick Apparatus for help. With WBA's help the truck now truly represents it's American LaFrance counterpart and is just waiting to be bricked out and start responding to calls.

I really like how the pump panel is in a compartment, its not something that's seen very often on this site. That, and the overall look of the truck make it really clean and streamlined. Great design overall, and a great job WBA did in turning it from design to bricks.

Quoting Paulo Rodriguez Really Nice truck, so is it a Pierce PUC? -Paulo R.
Actually it's built to represent a rig on my real fire dept which is an American LaFrance. The real truck can be seen here: http://a7.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/230971_2067534574352_1424430080_32385318_2435693_n.jpg
