edit - here are a couple of shots of an early robot upgrade I did last year and never uploaded to moc pages. It's the dark raven variant.

first we have the horror arms unit. Basically taking the hands from the Iron Condor, but adding it to an ordinary robot pilot. probably best described as mark 3 variant.

an early attempt at the sword master variant. I call this a Mark 3 Robot due to the heavier feet (providing more stability) more poseable legs and arms.

Step aside Iron Condor the robots just went airborne. This is my dark angel robot, or mark 4. it's basically the horror hands variant with wings.

I did these ages ago but realised I never uploaded them. Again they use the basic hinge augmentation that Moko came up with, but I've altered the limbs slightly.

Quoting Rabid Goldfish Neat collection. I definitely like the cover model the best, though the feet look a little... overburdened to me. Otherwise, fantastic work! ^Blub^

I've always thought the legs the robots came with in the official sets looked quite clunky, so that was basically the look i was aiming for. I actually prefer my recent redesigns using the same basic hinge system. I did discover one more file I'd forgotten about using a similar system, but I'm leaving that as a surprise...
