A preview of the main characters in my upcoming story, A Story Retold. Other minor characters will be featured, but these are just the main characters.
About this creation
Well to start things off, I'd like to bring attention to two awesome builders who haven't been noticed yet and really deserve some publicity! Rasmus Olsen makes really cool mechs, and Evan D is on his way to becoming a bionicle pro! Check them out!
So, I decided to take a few of my favorite builds and make a story around them. The basis of the story takes place right after the final showdown between Mata Nui and Teridax (Makuta). In my version, Teridax wasn't quite killed by the hunk of planet that hit him in the (robot) head. It's told from the point of view of two toa who are traveling bounty hunters out of work, who discover one of the original toa in stasis buried beneath the desert. Together, with Tempus, they must stop Teridax from returning to power.
Every one of these will get (or already has) its own post.

These are Vex (Vored) and Vanu (Luja). Thanks to Raviel and Alien Entity for winning the name contest! Now to make your Entity's chibi...
Here's Vanu. He's armed with wrist guns, a rhotuka spinner, and leg rockets.

Here's Vex. He's a toa-cyborg. For those of you following me, I decided that #2 wasn't really an important character and morphed #2 and Vex into one character.
Vex is armed with a machine gun arm, a pistol and some other larger gun (Those of you that know guns can suggest a name for the larger one).

These are the three original toa. They helped the great beings form the universe. After the universe was complete, the great beings realized that they were too powerful, and anybody can be corrupted, so the toa were stripped of most of their power and hidden in three corners of Spherus Magma in stasis.
Tempus, the toa of time. He is the first one to be found, and accompanies Vex and Vanu on their journeys. He has a time blade and a Kanohi disk of time and launcher, both weapons can be mounted on his back. (one at a time)
He is MG's self moc, Dalta.

Yiang, toa of energy. Doesn't play a very important role, the second toa to be found.
Also Archangel, Archangel's self-moc.

Mato, toa of Matter. He believed that he was the most important of the three, and was self-absorbed. When the great beings stripped him of his powers, he didn't understand why, and grew resentful. Teridax had an all too easy time corrupting him.
He was really fun to build. Thanks to Denontile for the ideas! Demontile gets extra kudos for all his participation!
Back. I had fun using all my new Witch Doctor pieces. Speaking of Doctor, I'm going as the doctor (11th) for halloween!
The bad guys! Namely, Makuta Teridax and Makuta Destrin.
Makuta Destrin, obviously a take on STS's self-moc. He is Teridax's best henchman. Hench hench hench.

Finally...
Teridax. I had fun making him, because I had to keep the original colors and look (of the first version), but add my own over-techniced look. You'll drop your jaw in stupefied awe of epicness when you find out how I attached the Ignika to his mask of shadow. It's awesome AND purist!
Muahahahahaha!
Back. He has a junkyardish look, you'll find out why soon.
And last but.. wait he IS the shortest...
Demonom! He's a cute little matoran!
For some reason, he came out a lot like the stars Takanuva. I was using my avohkii masks on Zerk, so he got a bley tahu.
He has a tail! I couldn't fit wings. The tail was the hardest part, because I had to blend it into the back really well. It came out so well! :D
4th Story Commentary: If you want to complain about something, look here first!
Q) What? Why does Archangel look like a dude?
A) That's not Archangel, it's Yiang. It's just a bionicle anyway. Stop being sexist.
Q) Why don't people's self-mocs have the right names?
A) It's just for the story. It's just how I roll.
Q) Can I be in the story?
A) No. Unless you do something awesome, like make my self-moc. Otherwise the people who already got in are the only ones.
Q) Why does Teridax have the Ignika / how did you attach it?
A) Wait and see :D

I really like Tempus, his gold tube reminds me of Sentinel Prime, and he looks ancient and emanates power and wisdom. OVER NINE THOUSAND out of ten. |

Finally there is an overview page to the characters! I Can't wait for your story. And all the characters look so great! And now, I would like to award you being the first one who has build Vored! You make him look different, but still use some things I had on mine too, like the non-cannon-lower arm, the chestplate and the outer upper legs! Thanks a million, he went out so great! My dude is Perfect.He never even had his mask as a Matoran(mato's wearing it(tip)).kinda hoped for a tail but it's not required but nice tail.Mato came out good as well. Vanu and Vex are awesome as well. |
