Unitron Scout Fighter

The Unitron theme was really underdeveloped by Lego way back when it first came out. I've decided to add my own Scout Fighter to the series!
About this creation

Front view. Although considered a light weight scout ship, it is heavily armed for those instances when its scouting activities crosses paths with some hostile Spyrius rebels...

It has a crew of 2 - the pilot sits up front in the cockpit...

...and in the rear...

...the Scout Leader in a little planetary explorer vehicle!

The Scout Leader prepares for scouting! Insert John Williams soundtrack here...

Armed with only his trusty laser pistol, he boldly goes where no Unitron has gone before. Will he encounter a hostile new breed of aliens? Or precious minerals that can be mined for the glory of the Unitron Empire? Anything is possible!

The pilot waves goodbye to Scout Leader. He will take off and orbit at a safe distance, ready to unleash death from above if Scout Leader radios for backup...

Oh I almost forgot to include the side view. The original Unitron series had lots of angles, and I honored the original color scheme of grey, blue and black with trans-yellow highlights.

Nice little fighter. I like the small rover which is in the rear bay, it's a very classic LEGO idea: this MOC could have been an official set !
