In any case, no matter whether you use the HG, MG or PG as your model, the mechanism itself actually consists of three separate joints: 1) The ball joint that connects the rail gun itself to the waist. 2)The swivel joint that moves the rail gun 90 degrees from the hips to the rear skirt 3)The swivel joint that moves the rear skirt armor up and down, depending on how the rail guns are positioned. Its hard to get all of those joints to fit in such a small space in lego, so its much simpler to use a single ball joint.

XD Incredbile build with amazing accuracy and detail, this has to be the best SFreedom built from real LEGOs, my favourite part is the head. However, I have seen some minor problems in the design what you can't see for a first look but you'll notice after a while, but the're only minor things, like the shoulders seem to be 1 stud too long(but that's just me) and I thing you should put a flat tile on the yellow joint on the arms and legs, they look too skinny and the visible studs kinda ruin the beauty of the MOC and the legs look a bit skinny as well but that's really minor. I hope this small constructive criticism will help you to further improve this already amazing build. What's next? Legend? Akatsuki? Man I'd like to see you build the Blitz or the Verde Buster, with your skills they'd be amazing! Keep up the good work!
