Finally I managed to create something close to a GM. Tough I didn't build a classic GM, this is a totaly original design, but it still follows the GM pattern. Mostly inspired by: GM Custom, Gm Cold Climate Type, GM Command Type.

It's been to long but haha!!! This is great! Do i see the beginnings of a military base? That would be great for a joint project. Impulse is coming along good but im out of references. All i really need are thee gun, backpack, and boomerang things. |

Mad skills everywhere! Loved the angles in the chest and shield but rifle is top notch. Your LDD skills are amazing, surely my newest FB. |

Really nice addition you have look fantastic. Your mech bay made my jaw drop. To see all those fabulous mechs together was amazing. And the tanks look great really good job on them. You should really build off of this. You could make a great landscape scene off of what you started here. Again excellent work |

I kinda prefer Photoshop for photo-editing. it's very expensive, and pretty hard to learn to use, but once you get past those two problems it's probably the best photo-editing program for easily making some awesome pictures. Illustrator probably does better, but I'm still learning how to use it. and personally I think those last two pictures are pretty good. I'm still trying to comprehend how your computer could even handle all that. :P |

I use Gimp. Best part of it, if you are using a version of LDD that does not have the backgrounds added, the background regisiters as transparent. So you don't have to extract the image from the background. You just have to add it as a layer over the background of your choosing. ^Blub^ |

Pretty sweet build. The head looks like a GM's, but it still seems like it's missing something. And the legs look a tad bit on the skinny side, not sure ig thats what you're going for though. Otherwise this is great, especially the body. Oh, and instead of building the geara zulu, I was thinking of a simpler zeon MS http://www.mahq.net/mecha/gundam/cca/ams-119.htm.
The legs look like that for a reason, given that a GM has skinny legs most of the time, and this unit IS a GM in fact but not from any of the existing Gundam universes so I named it differently. I also built a Gundam using the same body but with different head and feets plus I'll add different stuff later on, so we can say that this unit is the mass produced version of a Gundam, hence it's a GM. The Gera Doga is a very nice choice but you'll have to come up with a totally different frame for that one, at least for the upper body, I'll be sure to keep an eye out for it tough! |

Very nice work Thomas. I definitely like the look of this one. But those last two pictures! Gah! You have to do something about them. Without backgrounds and editting, they look just so plain! But sreiously, great work here on the units, and the hangar. Very impressive! ^Blub^
Well I'm really bad at editing stuff so that'll have to wait, but theose pics are just a little previews of what I'm building and it's far from complete. Btw what programs do you use for your backgrounds? |

Hey Man, As I Expect From You, You Have Made A Fine MOC. For The Most Part I Am Unable To Find Any Major Issues With Any Of The Shaping. I Feel That You Captured The Design Of A GM Like Unit, But Added Enough Flare And Style To Make It Catch The Eye Without Looking Too Flashy, Cause GMs Are Not Flashy, That's What Gundams Are For. If I Had To Say That There Was Something Of An Issue, It Would Have To Be The Head, And That's Only The Result Of Being Very Critical. It Still Has A Nice Shape But I Feel That If Someone Were To Have An Issue, It Would Be The Head. Mainly Due To The Fact That It Has A Slightly Rougher Appearance When Compared To The Rest Of The MOC. But I Doubt It Will Be An Issue, Seeing That It Is Still A Solid Design. So, Overall, Very Nicely Done, Solid Design, Solid Presentation, And The Only Possible Issue I Could Come Up With Is The Head.
Thanks for the great review! Yes the head is still in experimental state, I wanted to come up with something new rather than copy other well built GM heads. |
