I decided to go for another round of miniland scale since this cathegory was SCREAMING for this type of builds. I never did miniland before round 3 and wanted to explore more of the figures building techniques and accesoires in that scale, round 3 was roughly landscaping...
Here's five of my favourit sketches from Monty Python.
The fish slapping dance.
The Pet Shop, better known as "Dead Parrot".
Without the figs.
The Knights Who Say Ni! from Monty Python's "The Search For The Holy Grail"
Fighting Each Other, from Monty Python's "The Meaning Of Life", personally my favourite movie.
Apart from silly sketches and great humor, Monty Python's TV appearances became typical with their excellent stop motion animations. Here's "Bloody Weather" from the movie "The Search For The Holy Grail"
Details as a bonus!
And now for something 4th wall:
Miniland is certainly a great deal of fun building that I never dared to discover before. I had my share of luck in the contest before but getting Monty Python as a cathegory truely was a gift. I hope the same for Annie. Thanks for your commenting, good luck to our judges and stay tuned!

Fantastic work! Everything is masterful wrought, yet the shadow effect really jumped out for me. Great job bringing these scenes to LEGO and good luck in the competition!
Ah! Glad somebody noticed! Thanks for your comments people!
This was a close one, Dude! But you get my vote, mainly because of the parrot shop set and the fish slap figs. I also thought the number of classic scenes you built was more in keeping with the 'completely different' aspect of the category. Good luck with the other judges!
"I like the laurels, particularly."
Awesome job on this, Gio! You have certainly set the bar extremely high for Annie. When considering my possible take on this category, the trench scene from "The Meaning of Life" was one of the first to come to mind. It is nice to see it brought to life without me having to actually build anything. So, thank you for that, especially! :) Good luck!
Well done mate, brilliant stuff. I don't think minifigs would have had the same impact, so the miniland works wonders again. Great choice on the scenes too, although I would have loved to see a lumberjack and a silly walk as well. Good luck!
You really struck it lucky with your category, but luck has nothing to do with this superb build. All talent Gio, all talent! So creative and memorable, instantly recognisable and funny. Fish slapping dance FTW!
Great job on this, Gio! It's funny how I'm doing miniland for this too, great minds think alike. ;) I'll probably be cutting it close to the deadline with my entry. Again, excellent job, and good luck. :)
Truly a work of marvel, Gio. I know all of these scenes by heart and I must say that you've captured their essence wonderfully. Not only visually, but most of all comically. Even the link to the larch made me laugh ;)
