Tractor and farm implements
About this creation
I built this tractor based off the designs of set 8284, and the revision by Mark Wolstenholme

Tractor and Farm implements right to left:
Hay Bailer, Tractor, Rotary Cutter, Small Disker

Underside of Tractor. Drive of tractor is 1 M motor, to the shaft with the shifter it goes to front and back worm gear drives. Worm gear drives are then sped up, and geared to axles. The shaft next to it is the PTO shaft, also driven by 1 M motor. The shifter is so that you can lock the PTO to the drive shaft, and have both motor drive the Tractor.

Motor Functions from right to left:
Drive(Worm Gear shaft), PTO (Top Motor), Steering

Pneumatic 3Point Hitch:
I used two cylinders for the 3Point hitch, And the two hoses that come out the back are the AUX air for attachments. To hook the hoses together, i used pieces of pen ink tube.

Hay Bailer:
Bailer uses PTO to run the pick up reel, flapper (used to get hay up to plunger), and the plunger. This was surprisingly simple to build. I based the whole design around the plunger and flapper.

Rotary cutter:
Rotary cutter uses the 3pt hitch, and the PTO. Simple design based off the 8284 set. The main design of the 3pt hitch was by Mark Wolstenholme I added a few pieces to make it stronger, so it would lift a little more.

Small Disker:
Disker uses AUX air to raise and lower the road wheels.

A good-looking tractor. Pity that it has a worm gear drive. But the looks make it good. I've added my own tractors to the 'tractor group', by the way.

Holy moly! This is a very goodlooking technical moc. One important point to improve. Do not use worm gears if not absolutely necessary. Worm gears as made in Lego, lose immense amount of torque. Also, somewhere furhter in the driveline, you need to gear up , and doing so, you again lose torque. 4/5 is well deserved, keep on moccing!!!
