I just had to do a Dom at some point, and I prefer the Rick Dom II for this job. I had a lot of problems while building this one, especially with the legs...Well nothing much to say, let's see the pics! Oh and no poses this time, I'll do some later.

Yeah, he stole some of Chris Roach's work as well, without giving credit, even after being told by Chris himself. Seeing how well that MOC was built, not to mention I knew right away it was yours, compared to his other work, I knew right away it was a stolen MOC. I'm all for Builders using the Work of Others to spark some Creativity, but flat out stealing a MOC is something I look down on heavily. Also, it would appear that he even, or had someone, spam one of his MOCs. But that's another issue by itself. |

we shouldn't need to ask people to give credits, they should know it's basic courtesy to do it regardless.
We all use techniques that we've seen elsewhere, but swiping an entire design and just changing the colours is pathetic IMO.
anyway, just wanted to say I LOVE this design, 5/5. |

Many thanks! I didn't even notice such thing...tough I'm the one to blame for not pointing out to people to give credits for my MOCs...well it's not that I care since I share my creations so that people can benefit from them but, posting the exact same thing only recolored(in a slightly distasteful way)while claiming it's his own work is kinda rude... |

holee jeebus, you keep getting better and better! Now i wanna see a Gelgoog cannon and an Acguy. I know you can do it now. I'm dying to see an Acguy in lego form, especially if u can do that cute pose of its arms wrapped around its legs in crouched position (look up MG Acguy boxart for the pic). I'm not a huge fan of the Ric Dom or Dom Tropen, but this is pretty freakin cool.
Haha thanks! I might give it a shot just for fun. Acguy is an interesting design so it could pose a challange for me, especially if I want to build it in the scale of my other MSs.

It looks like it ties with the rest of your MOCs for top rated, but not anymore! Awesome build, you've done really well on this one. :)
Thanks! |

Hey, I was also thinking of building a Geara Zulu from unicorn gundam err- heres a link http://www.mahq.net/mecha/gundam/unicorn/ams-129.htm . Seeing as how your great with zeon MS's, do you have any idea how I would even begin to make the head?
Well, thats one tough nut to crack. I think you should start with the face(use hinges, like I did on my Gouf's face) than try something like I did with my Zaku FZ's or my Rick Dom II's head for the helmet effect. If you'd like I could give it a shot to help out, but I'm not sure either how to get this done. |

Nice digital models. Yes, very good renderings of the Rick Dom II. Wow, and you even made versions in the alternate color schemes. You clearly know your mobile suit's well. Do you think you could tackle the GM Cannon? Something tells me that you are the guy for the job!
I've been experimenting with the GM design a few days ago so it's possible, since I wish to build some different variants of it as well. Tough they might turn into some GM looking original builds in the end of the process. Yesterday I got the idea of making a Xamel from UC0083. So keep your eyes open the next week. |

Awesome! How can you build these guys so quickly? do you have a base model that you build up from or something?
If you pay close attention, you'll see that my reacent MOCs have the exact same frame and the torso is slightly different each time. So mostly I just modify a previous model that had a design closest to the one I wish to achieve. But the last 5 MOC I uploaded was already completed 1 week ago, I just didn't want to upload them all at once, and I slight improvements every day. So at the moment I have one basic RGM type finished that I'll improve later with different variants, and I also plan to build a base with MS bays and stuff. So I'll be very busy this week and probably won't upload anything till weekend, except for the RGM. |

Very nice. For some reason, I really like the Rick Dom's look. Even the few times I've seen it. Just the heavy armor effect I guess. ^Blub^
Haha thanks, it does look heavily armored, but in reality it was armored as much as a Zaku or worse. THe Rick Dom was built mainly for ground battles and speed, it has the ability to hover above the ground moving with a speed of 290 km/h. But they were equally good in space too. |

Tom dude this thing is awesome! I love the chunkyness of the legs and that head is menacing lookin! Your creations really make me wish I knew more about Gundam.
If you didn't know this before:
Gundam is both the name of the franchise and the name of a special Mobile Suit type(mostly prototypes) in a mecha anime. The first anime was the original Mobile Suit Gundam show that aired in 1978! and had a lot of good shows after that, set in different timelines and alternative universes. So it's a very old franchise with a huge fanbase. Just search Google it...you'll find a LOT of info about it. I build mainly from the original universe (Universal Century). If you're interested in Gundam or in anime, I'd recommand to watch the OVA called "Gundam 08th. MS Team", it was made in 1995 and it's one of the best series in my opinion that has a very realistic look and lots of action, and the whole thing feels like a WWII movie with giant Mechas. |

Love it. You build my 3rd favorite Zeon suit. Great job on the head as well, its not the easiest to make. Any other awesome things your building that you'd care to mention?
Wow that was fast :D Well I built an RGM yesterday but I'm still tweaking it a bit(mostly cosmetics) and I'm thinking on other variants of the same unit, like a cannon type or commander type, etc. And I'm also planning to build a military outpost with fences, barracks, towers, and of course...two Mobile Suit bays that can house 7 units per each. So yeah, it's a big project. After that I'm probably going to rebuild my Hizack, Kämpfer and Rick Dias (these were my earliest build so they're begging for improvement). And lastly befor I go on a longer break I have plans for a Zeta Gundam (now that I polished my "Gundam building" skills :P), Hyaku Shiki and a Gaplant(I'll probably go bald by the time I finish that one tough :D), Kshatriya and the Over Flag projects will have to wait longer. So that sums it up for now. |
