MIT Round 2- Lando L. Jackson vs. Legofreak2444
My entry for the secondary round of the 2011 MOCPages Invitiational Tournament, against the illustrious Legofreak2444 in the category of "I am your father". I chose to build a wizard creating new life from parts of metal.
About this creation
That which I intend to best on the field of battle

The field of battle

"As Alvolar the Green poured his last wizrdly energy into his staff, an aura of alarmingly bright blue shot forth from his ashen staff, sparking life into the assembled metal body on the cushioned table before him.

...The automaton offers an indicator of their life, raising one of his arms in salutation to his creator. Alvolar sees this, and with it, utters the words "I am your father," while choking on the tears of the powerful joy that had been brought to him. At last, he had become the caretaker of life, heretofore his most passionate aspiration"

Eugapae! My entry has been entered, and I can only wait for the outcome of this round. Here are some extra images of the wizard's tower, beginning with the ladder to the above levels.

Subsequently, the grand archway leading out of the tower.

The North-Western quadrant of the room, including a potion rack, sextant, and a scroll.

The South-Western region of the room, including a mounted telescope, hand-telescope, prism, instruction manual, and a hung-up green skeleton.

Well, thanks for looking and good luck to my opponent!

Quoting Legofreak2444 ~ Hey man, it was nice competing with you. Sorry you didn't make it to round 3. You had a really nice entry here. :)
Thanks, man. I wish the judges had judged less on storyline, but you certainly had the builds.

This was a solid build, however your opponent combined it with a much stronger storyline, so he gets my vote.

Quoting Master Shifu Leo J A solid build for sure. However, the story could have been developed better; it felt rushed. Also, the non-square, "floating" base your opponent built vs. the "traditional" diorama base and the hilarious texting sequence swayed the score. My vote goes to your opponent.
And rushed it was. I also liked my opponent's floating base.
