About this creation

W2/UTL-E Extra Vehicular Activities Repair Unit.

Single man mecha unit designed for extra vehicular activities. In other words, it fixes stuff in space.

Features twin multi-position jet engines for steering in zero gravity, forward limbs can operate tools and equipment. Lower section acts as stabilizer.

For use by astronauts without an umbilical tether.

Creator notes:

Used the same basic cockpit as the B6, but changed the rear section to include jets and the under section - simply because it looked a little bare.

I think the results are slightly wasp like.

Used black & white because that seems to be the colours NASA prefer.

I've now altered the function of the hind section, it is now the secondary tool limbs, a larger grabbing arm and a soldering unit.

the under section was added just for balance really, I felt without it, the finished figure was too short. I think of it as sort of a stabilizer, counter balancing the modules weight so it doesn't just spin off into space when the jets fire.
