"Et tu Brute?" This was the theme I was given for round 2 of the MIT. I decided to to build something a little different than going with the scene where the quote actually came from (Julius Caesar's last words as his friend Brutus stabs him along with the other senators.) The quote literally conveys the act of betrayal from a friend and/or mentor. This little vignette portrays the scene in Star Wars Revenge of the Sith where the helpless younglings are betrayed and slain at the hands of their mentor Anakin Skywalker after his turn to the Dark Side.

When you said the link to my honorable opponent I accidentally read it, "The link to my horrible opponent" :D XD! |

I have to say, I think the judges got it wrong, first, finding a non-literal analogy for the quote and the detail you put into the scene was just fantastic (but of course I love star wars, so im a bit biased). This is one of my favorite mocs ive seen! |

Excellent take on the quote, the build was very nicely done and it was a tough choice for me as well. However, the extra details on your opponent's creation pushed my vote in his favor. |

Very close call for me, but I feel Bourbonbrick just had a bit more. He gets my vote. |

A nice take one of my other ideas for the category was a mach (called the Brute) betraying another mech (the Caesar) and a battle ensuing but then i decided a miniland recreation of the actual scene.I think that you came up with a brilliant idea and a nice build .May the best MOCer win! |

Nice floor detail. That scene was so sad (except for the youngling's accent). Very good take on the category! |
