This one's for Dave "I AM Batman" Kaleta and my little cousin Caleb! Ever since I told Caleb I bought parts to build Spiderman and Batman figures, he asks me every time I see him when I'm going to build them. Well, here's Batman (Spidey will be along later)! Believe it or not, I actually get alot of ideas for non-Star Wars builds, but always end up in that galaxy far far away. I plan on doing a bit more building outside my normal boundries in the coming months. Credit goes to Mariann Asanuma for the tooth plates as the ends of Batty's cape. As always, please RATE and COMMENT:)

Incredibly clever use of bricks here, like the 1x1 tiles, the cones for the legs and the plates for the "ears" and wrists...Very clever ! :) |

You could try using a black lego made faberic part (perhaps a sail), and cut the waves out at the bottom. |

Wow the nose is a bit round and you could have made a cape out of material or something, but the back view looks very accurate. I have to show my older brother this because he likes batman |

Looks great! Nice work. His cape should be studless, though.
I actually wanted to cover the cape with tiles, but it's already 2 plates thick and heavier than the figure, believe it or not. Which made him REALLY hard to pose! I'll have to come up with a better studless solution. |

Excellent job! The top of the cape seem about 1-2 studs too wide (IMO), but a truly fantastic build.
Thanks! I actually made his cape a few studs wider than I usually make capes at this scale, since Batman's "look" involves a really BIG cape that drapes around everything. Didn't quite accomplish that look, though... |

This is great, I especially like the symbol on his chest. His cape does look a bit bulky but Its a good effort. I'm in the process of building a large batman project, keep your eyes peeled :) |
