Far away from spaceships and adventurers... this candle is dedicated to one of my favorite builders.
About this creation
After three months without touching a brick, it's my second creation within one week. Crazy me!!
In fact, this candle has a little story:
As a small builder -but still, having a little pride- I always wait eagerly for the first comment. My last little MOC was not a big deal but the fear is still the same: Will it receive a few support? We all dream of being MOTD...
So the first comment is a relief (and I mean it).
There is one guy -an awesome builder- who always comes and takes some time to comment my stuff. And he did it again. So far, he is the only one.
I told to myself: this guy is like "a candle in the wind" (the song from E. John), giving you hope. So I rushed to my playing room and built this symbol in one night!
This MOC is dedicated to Nick "oldcarnut" BARRETT.

I like this picture taken in our kitchen. Matches very well with the oak table.
I wanted to build "studs up" as Nick always do so well.
My girlfriend played her part in this MOC, advising me for the shape, the visual effects concerning the candle. Maybe the first MOC of mine she really likes... I love her!
It was my first attempt to create a "circle" with lego: could be better but not so bad... Anyway, I'm glad with the result.
My dear Nick, maybe we'll never meet (UK is not so far from France though...) and maybe I will never see your 2 CV and your DS...
But whoever you are, I do appreciate your support and your kind words (and your "studs up"). Thank you very much! :)
And thank you to all of you, who come and take some time to comment my buildings. It's a real pleasure to read you.
