MIT R2 Zac. Vs LEGO Obsessionist
My category was; "I pity the fool" And since we were weren't really restricted to anything I decided (like last round) to take it literally. BTW I'm in bravo bracket

My..gulp..opposition
Once I had read what my category was I was really stuck, after all I hardly know anything about Mr T who is famous for the quote "I pity the fool".
So I decided why not differ from the flock who would think straight away about Mr T and instead dissect what each word could mean and turn it all into a nice vignette.

Bebo was once a highly successful fool*, admired by millions and loved by children, but then one day his jokes stopped being funny, his stunts got boring and his impressions started to scare children and adults alike.

Soon after his circus group throw him out, He had lost his friends and family all in one go, he had no home and no one to love.
He finally found himself on the street begging for pittance in very bad neighbourhoods.

Infact some were so bad people passing through were so scared that they completely ignored poor Bebo.

But than I was passing through, and since I had once admired Bebo so much, that I felt that it was my duty to give him my pity and my gold

MOC Evaluation
I really Enjoyed coming up with this concept and MOC.
also in case you don't know I did call Bebo a fool which is a old name for a clown or jester.
I really liked designing the buildings and positioning of the run-down bike an d the garbage behind the burning barrel
My only dislike is the buildings,I really don't like them but I don't have the experience or parts to hand to build them any better.

So I Pity the fool, do you?

It is a shame your opponent was DQ'd, but I think you still might have won this round. Very well thought-out concept and nicely executed. I really like the dwarf's head for Bebo's "down and out" look, and the fact that you used the same hat for collecting coins. And this little slice of the city gives a nice feeling of a run-down neighborhood. Great work!

A nice idea and decent build, but the competition only gets tougher from here and you'll need to step up your game. Good luck in Round 3.~H

Not a bad build, however if your opponent wasn't DQ'ed, I would have voted for him. Your flying by the skin of your teeth!

The concept of the story is cool and was depicted nicely by the MOC. However, if your opponent was not DQ'ed, I would have voted for him because that dookie chain kicked arse! And the bionicle/lego factory Mr. T is just thinking beyond the usual mold. XD

hi zak! the buildings could have been better, try to use only 2 layers of grey at the bottom of them, it s hard to beleive you do t have more white bricks to makethem higher, but, the rest of the story is quite good, if a little sad, the clown pic with curtains in the background is my fav pic! nicely done zak!

Quoting Sebeus I I love the head you switched the clowns head with :P
Yeah, I used the evil dwarves head from CMF series 5,I thought it would look right, for a man who had it all then lost it all.

That street really looks slumyand the story is nice. The best thing to do would be higer buildings, but if you don't have the bricks, it's fine.
